Hey Pug, for the battery on your car trailer, you should install a battery maintainer and just plug it in when you get home. That way it's always charged and you dont have to lift it anymore. I did that on my dump trailer and it's been 5 years since it's been replaced. Happy New Year to you and tiff
I wired my trailer up so my truck charges it as I'm driving down the road. I guess I should say I wired my truck up

U Joint bearing caps are Tapered. They need to come out in opposite direction that they were pushed in from.

I know it's a pain in the ass but you know in the back of your mind that you got to reseal this engine clean it up put new freeze plugs in it adjust the valves, don't forget before you get started you got to go get the hobo in the van and give him a brass brush not steel brass, I reckon you give him a good meal and he can brush that engine for at least a week right 🤑💰👈
So when I had mine I did some research cause when I opened it up the case was stepped where the dowel pin couldn't come out, so I found a post saying dealers were getting the trucks mid 98 99 and they'd pull cover and change the piece behind the front cover and the cast piece was stepped where pin couldn't fall out. Then they sealed up front cover with that gray rtv. Mine had both, the stepped plate and gray rtv on front cover. I knew original owner and he never had anything on motor apart and only 98k mi when I got it few yrs ago. Mine was a 6/98

De-rust underneath that bracket you first removed, sand blast the underside of the bracket., then sandwich a thin lawyer of JB weld between the block and bracket to plug the leak. She won’t leak.

I put on my new Pug 1 (Inward Customs) shirt on and changed the wife's oil and didn't even get any oil on the shirt! One in a million! Awesome shirts they fit great and the arm holes are clocked correctly.
That sucks about that U joint tool! i got an oil filter cup tool to remove my oil filter. By the time i put the extension in the cup tool it doesn't grab the filter, junk.
