Just saw it tonight. I was preparing myself to accept the cringe of those first 2 acts, but it was absolutely handled with a skilled deftness - and every cringe line in the trailer was actually tempered by the most masterful sense of wry self-awareness in the context of the entire movie. A stunning achievement.
I saw the movie yesterday. You can probably tell from my icon how much of a fan of the Transformers franchise that I am. ... I loved it, out of 5 stars, I'd give it 500, easily rewatchable. There were many times I wanted to pause the screening, to take in the spectacle of the scene. By the way, you were referring to them all being Autobots, this was mostly before those factions existed, they were all Cybertronians through most of the movie. Just a note. And this is by far the superior Transformers movie. My 2nd favourite is the original 86 movie, followed very closely by Bumblebee. The rest of them are a very far distant followers in my appreciation of them. To me, that were only cash-grabs for Michael Bay.
They certainly cooked, here I thought even as a transformers fan myself they could create a movie that satisfy both newcomer/casuals and hardcore fan If anything I feel like the movie itself could definitely be bigger but I can see they are still experimenting on the animated movie direction hence the shorter screentime and somewhat rushed story (atleast through out they definitely focus alot on how orion and D16 growth into optimus and megatron ) You're also not the only one doubt too as even transformers fans too had their doubt Plus there are also alot of easter egg and reference basses on different series, even the settings and caharcete placement
Just watched it, almost cried. Im a tf fan and i this.movie was way bettet than i hoped. Brian tyler did it again, he was the composer for the animated series Transformers Prime and he was the composer for this movie and did a splendid job.
Transformers the Movie 1986 was a kids movie too and adults love it. Calling it a kids movie is kind of dismissive, it's not something to be ashamed of. Adults love kids movies too, we literally make up the majority of the internet.
Let me know what you think of Transformers One down below! Also, let me know what your favorite Transformers movie is so far! ⬇
It’s a suprise that this is rated PG instead of PG-13 but you’ve said it’s not for kids in some ways.
@@patj.scahill979 amazing what you can get away with when it’s robots not humans fighting each other lol

One of the best things about it is there are NO HUMANS.
@@GrayifiedX exactly and it proves these characters can easily exist on their own without em and be far more compelling!
Longtime Transformers fan here and I absolutely agree with you this is the best Transformers film ever.

I think they shoulda advertised towards the war for cybertron and fall of cybertron gamer audience
@@Adoniss99 would be much better!
@@ChatalbashReviews and Matt lanter be megatron. Current actor doesn’t really have that Vader-warrior voice
That’s a niche audience that won’t help it gain commercial success
Fall of Cybertron was a commercial failure that sold less than one million copies- that's not a sound financial decision.
