Beamng and many other games are being developed for many years now, and? if you are in a hurry, maybe donate to him a few bucks a month, or if you rich, maybe 1k month so he can finish faster. Or even better, make one yourself LOL
i’d imagine it would be, there’s plenty of down force effects i don’t see why it’d be impossible for them to make smth that instead of pushing u to the ground it catches the wind and stops u. it’s all about execution tho
@@prince-wl1er That’s true. Beam has very realistic wind physics too. As you said, execution is key and will probably be 1 launch of the parachute and you can’t do it again
@@freddieparrydrums Tbh, based on the fact that we already have a flexible soft top (on the Ibishu Hopper), I think the dragster parachutes could be done, along with the airbags for the more normal vehicles of BeamNG! Both these objects could be modelled as separate parts and devs could also give us the option in the Parts Selector of adding/removing the airbags from the normal cars without changing the steering wheel/dashboard/door cards/seats (if the car is new enough to have airbags, that is, because it was in the mid-to-late 80s when airbags were federally mandated, so any BeamNG car older than that is out of the question) and, of course, they could also give us the option of adding/removing the parachutes from the drag cars, both for the sake of entertainment, weight reduction and comparison! Execution is key! 🤔
@@tec9sono No way dude!!! I had a g27, with pedal pedal issues, the "sensors" (forgot the name) were not working right on the brakes, easy fix. What wheel did you had? I'm really thining in buying a G27 again, since i really dont have much time to play and is relatively cheap around here.
