Sohail Bhai along with Bhaijan and two of our Kashmiri brother friends, we have had tea and cutlets in Carlton Restaurant in the row of shops which used to have Mitthan Halwa shop. This happened some time around 1967-68. Carlton used to be righr behind the small Park having that Pocket Books store in front of which the DTC busses going towards DU would stop. Also the cycle stand of Minerva cinema at its back would lead in a lane which used to have vegetable vendors selling vegetables spread on road. And this lane would join the road coming from Mitthan Halwai shop. The corner of this road intersection on its right had a MCD school probably only till grade 3 with a lamp post right outside the entrance of this school's small building.

@@Pyarirunjhun The owners of Blue Bird used to live in Ballinaran, old Delhi. Their younger daughter (Anjum) and son used to be students of Tyler school. Son 's name was Khursheed and was my classmate till 4th grade. That was sometime in 1962-63 probably. Soon after the whole family migrated to Pakistan. Before the famous morning Double Roti by a name starting with D, made a place in upcoming new Delhi area colonies, it was the Blue Bird's Double Roti which used to be the favourite of practically entire walled Delhi and up to DU's Jublee & Gwyer Halls hostels.

Interesting... but really, the video could have been better edited. Too choppy.
