Did anyone else here start crying on the inside from the moment Tony said, "Why can't you look our for the little guy, like that lady who bought you a churro?" Tony, did you listen to every single message...?
Yes! I'm surprised I haven't heard more about that in reviews of this movie! The realization that Tony and Happy were actually very concerned with Peter's life was my favorite thing about the movie.
Spider-Man lifting the rubble is more like Issue #33 of the original Amazing Spider-Man series, where he's pinned underneath metallic rubble and must find the will to free himself. He gives up and beats himself up for a while, but ultimately prevails.
I was just about to leave a comment about this. When I saw that scene in the movie yesterday, the image of the cover of Amazing Spider-Man Issue #33 popped in my head and what happens in issue. I was really happy they did that in the movie such a good Spider-Man moment brought to life.
Arnoldo Guerra As others have already responded, it isn't only "more like", it's almost***exactly*** that! And I'm surprised that Kevin Smith didn't pick up on that. Kraven's Last Hunt's buried alive scene is a nod to that, and Kevin's right that the scene in Homecoming had shades of that buried alive *also*. But this is about as close as you can get in a live action sequence with out copying it. Because I was studying Steve Ditko the morning I saw this film, I saw it right away. And got the chills watching it.
What made me actually cry a bit (only a bit, of course) was when Mark explained how Spiderman puts himself on the line to stop something much larger than he is. 13:13 This actually made me think of Spiderman in a positive way. Before I could care less about Spiderman and his personal universe. Thanks to both of you, I actually give a shit about the character now. I need to start watching the other movies. Thank you.
Another cool Easter Egg. The principal is the grandson of Captain Americas Army friend from the first Captain America movie. The scene where Peter Parker is in the principals office you see his picture and medals on the wall. I believe its the same actor as well.
The reason I feel like this is the best Spidey movie was because it felt like it was relatable. Peter was meant to be a character that people can relate to and you see that in the movie. Felt he can't talk to his crush, how happy he got for getting a date with Liz, having a bully, stressed from school, etc. Especially when *Spoiler* he had the building fall down on him. You see him crying under rocks and he feels like he has the weight on his shoulder(both physically and mentally). And we all been there as teens. We feel like we have the weight of the world on our shoulders and we can't help feel helpless and can't do anything.
So this was the best Spider-Man movie because it did the same thing the Sam Raimi movies did, but did it much worse? When Peter comes home after the graduation, and cries in his room because Uncle Ben wasn't there to see him, is more relatable than anything in this movie.
Anton A. Not everyone’s uncle has died. Most of the MCU Spider-Man’s problems are relatable. You want us to relate to MJ and Peter’s fucked relationship? Give me a break. They already gave you all the relatable moments that most teens and even adults can relate too.
For me that rubble crying scene was great because it was a reminder for the audience that despite spiderman being this powerful superhero, he is just a kid who still feels fear. It showed a hero's human vulnerability, something that is often needed to make a superhero feel more relateable. After that, it is wonderful seeing how both that human side (mentally) and the superhero side (physically) gathers his strength together to beat the fear and obstacles, as peter parker's strengths aren't defined just by his superhuman abilities.
@@MultiBigbird01 Hit the nail straight on the head. Whenever I would see people complain that the MCU Spider-Man is a kid, I'm just like "He is a kid". If there's one thing I can't stand with Spider-Man fans, mainly toxic Raimi fans, is that they expect Tom to be *EXACTLY* like Tobey, when they know that this is a younger version of the character that will grow as he continues in the MCU. I don't expect people to love this version like I do, but I really wish Spider-Man fans can set aside the Spider-Man they grew up with & realize that this is a new, fresh, & younger version that is supposed to be relatable to younger versions of Spider-Man fans.
One of the most charming and hysterical moments in the film was when Spidey shot his web skyward ...and it hit NUTHIN'....so he had to hoof it to the goons. Perfect.
I didn't feel it was Mile's suit as much as it was obviously the 'Iron Spider' suit from the comic; the gold gave it away. I do feel bad about Glover's ice cream... :)
Do you people even read comics? Do you even have a pair of eyes? In what world, tell me, could anyone seriously say that the movie's design of Vulture's costume is better than his comic book one? The comic book design is sleek and simple. The one from the movie looks like it as made from trash.
@@antona.1327 Dude vultures costume was literally made out of trash they gathered from the attack on New York before damage control started cleaning up. I'm not saying I like the costume design in the movie but it's a little better than an old man in a green leotard with wings on the sleeves.

Chase Anderson That line was perfect for Tony's lesson, but completely false in the Marvel Universe (at least the comics). Spiderman has super-human ability, while Cap is apex-human. Look no further than Spidey catching Bucky's mechanized punch effortlessy in Civil War for proof. That punch could easily lay out any human and even rang Cap's bell in Winter Soldier.
Chase Anderson Cap handled him pretty well when they fought in the Civil War early when Cap rejected unmasking. It was not in the main books but I think in was a Spider-Man side story. On paper, Spider-man is almost unbeatable. Especially when writers decide to use his spider sense.
I think Iron Man meant it from an experience perspective. Peter is still too young and inexperienced at this point. Vulture set him up so easily in the warehouse when he broke the beams and dropped them on Spidey's head. You can't do that to Cap.
+Jasyyn -- No, it wasn't _'completely false'_ at all. Spidey was wide open to Cap once he had him holding up that walkway tunnel. Cap chose to walk away instead. I went to go see this movie with my 6 year old son. He, with impeccable timing, blurted out "What is porn?!" in the theater. The entire place started to laugh even harder.
Max Levin You know in some countries the word porn was taken out. Ned just says, "I watching...." and then he mouths the word porn with the sound taken out.

Tobey was a great silver age Spidey who was in fantastic movies. Garfield was a really good Ultimate Spidey (his Peter wasn't the best tho), but he was in mediocre movies. Neither of them EVER felt like a kid tho. It's funny how after 15 years of Spider-Man movies, they finally get it 100% right thanks to Marvel. Tom Holland is the definitive Spidey. That scene in the rubble man..... Nice homage to the comics, but also a heartbreaking scene seeing a KID struggle. It was perfect.
You got your John Hughes movie in my superhero movie! You got your superhero movie in my John Hughes movie! *Both look at each other* Spider-man: Homecoming.
I don't think the new suit at the end of the movie was for Miles, I saw it more of a iron spider suit that he turns down, same as the civil war comics. Miles will probably be introduced a long time down the line.
You guys missed Kenneth Choi (Captain America) returning as a relative of Howling Commando member Jim Morito, he played the Principal. You can see War memorabilia and pictures in his office and probably explains why the "war criminals" PSA's were still being used there.
In one scene,I thought Peter was gonna shit his under roos when Tony Stark was actually in his Iron Man suit after The Staten Island Ferry scene. That was TOUGH!!! "YEAH SPIDER-MAN!!!" - [five seconds later] - "YEAH IRON MAN!!" Lmao!
So... I've seen nobody mention when Tony Stark mentioned "heroes with a lower pay grade"... and when Adrian Tombs said "We don't need the Avengers or those other guys on our tails." Uhhh... that sounds ALOT like The Defenders being mentioned.
Dammage89 he realised his date was being ruined more and more as Liz tells The Vulture nore and more about Peter. This was suppose to be the greatest night of his life but every thing came crumbling down. Emotions got the best of a 15 year old kid.
Donald Glover and the Miles Morales reference was legit my favorite Easter Egg the whole movie. My heart was about to jump out my chest i got so excited at that part!
I really hope the Marvel can work out whatever problems they have between their movies and Netflix. Homecoming was so close to the Netflix shows. It just makes no sense for them not to reference each other. The Vulture was selling his weapons to petty criminals, they have to show up in the Netflix shows. There's no way Fisk doesn't know about it and he's smart enough to buy the Vulture's weapons. The Defenders are facing a threat to the whole city, it wouldn't make sense if they don't reference that in a Spider-Man sequel.
KingOfMadCows lol marvel only says those shows are in the mcu so you will get a netflix account and watch them and put money in their pockets. They don't care about those shows tbh.
Chukwudubem Okocha They're also good shows that would be worth watching regardless of whether or not they're connected to the MCU. Also, they spent $200 million on the first seasons of those shows. They care.
KingOfMadCows 200 million my ass. If thats the case the money is probably going to all the donuts the set producers buy. Have you seen the fight scenes in those shows? That money definitely isn't showing
It's shocking when you realize that this year, the three superhero movie studios each succeeded and gave us an actual GOOD movie. Logan, WW, Spidey These movies were awesome and amazing superhero movies, but each one was also a good movie in general, able to compete with other good movies of any genre.
Love the genuine enthusiastic rambling that lasts the whole video. Feels like you're listening to your friends talk and gush about how much they love something.
just got back.... holy shit. marvel again!!! amazing movie. is it better than spiderman 2? i really cant say, they are just both different thats for sure. But this movie was amazing.
Being a strong Spider-Man fan for years. This is for sure a more comic based version of the character. Now of course there's a lot of differences. And I'm fine with that decision because Marvel wants to be different than the last 2 series of films. They know that no one wanted a second reboot. I think they did their best. And I can't wait to see where the characters (Peter, Ned, & Michelle) go.
I would have only changed two things. 1: The car scene should have been a oner, or at least a single camera shot. 2: In the puddle stare-back scene, we really didn't need to have an echo of Tony saying "If you're nothing without the suit [etc.]". A dead man could have understood the subtext of that scene, didn't need to be told it again. Other than that, no complaints, save maybe what they did with Flash, but whatever, it works for the film they made.
I totally agree about the second point, but, y'know... they probably made that part on-the-nose for the youngest viewers. I have similar criticisms from when Toomes effectively told Peter that he was stalling for time until his wings could arrive, and also when he told Peter that he wasn't actually aiming for him just as the roof came down. Those parts were almost Incredibles-esque "monologuing" for me. A simple devious smile or two would've been sufficient, especially after we were shown just how cunning Toomes was throughout the movie.
Totally agree on both points. Personally, I hate it when movies flash back or voice over a previous line to remind the audience, it's a pet peeve of mine. Peter was already monologuing and finding inner strength, a tiny tweak to his lines would serve the same purpose. And yes, absolutely make the car scene more personal and introspective for Toomes and Peter by having it in 1 shot, though still beautifully shot as is.
I'm reminded of a bit from _Enter The Dragon_ I saw recently which I'm sure wasn't in the version I saw as a kid. It's in the scene where Lee is fighting Hang in the mirror room. He suddenly hears the voice of his old master telling him some fortune-cookie bollocks about "seeing the truth" which inspires him to break the mirrors. I'm sure that in the "original" version he just figures it out by himself.
This was my favorite Spider-Man movie of all time. The only thing I can think of to complain about is the Tony voice over happening when Peter is trapped, everyone knew what was happening. Other than that, I loved every freaking second of it.
another fun fact is that sam from freaks and geeks wrote this film, bill played the maths teacher and this is 15 years after daniel played harry osbourne
Nice to see Marc in the animation, also Marc makes me want to see the film all over again, Kev too but that explanation of the car scene. Awesome stuff Marc. Tyvm.
Jon Wilson !!!SPOILERS!!! Donald Glover plays a character who becomes prowler from ultimate comics. Prowler is the uncle of Miles Morales, hence the throwaway line "I don't want these weapons on the streets, my nephew lives around here"
Kinda surprised that you guys didn't talk about that funny little Aunt May bit right at the end. "What the F...?" HAHAHA, the whole theater burst out laughing it was great. =D
When Bernardin was talking about Spiderman nearing the end of a goal, but just missing it, made me realize how much I love Spiderman because he keeps going. the rocky analogy is spot on and perfect.
Entire sequence from the doorstep, plot twist, entire car ride and Keaton piecing it all together and then the 1-on-1 talk, one of the best sequences this century in a comic book film
I buy 99% DC comics each NCBD and I haven't been even keeping up with Marvel comics outside of Spider-Man and Star Wars, but ok I'm a Marvel buttboy lmao
Abrash Khan for me, it's hands down wonder woman. my ONLY issue with wonder woman outside of minor nitpicks is I felt like the climax, while I still quite liked it, could've been better. But that's it. wonder woman and Logan are easily the best superhero movies this year for my money. with guardians two coming in after and then spidey
I respectfully disagree. I found myself bored in the theater. Maybe it was because it was the 6th Spider-Man film, i don't know. Nothing had me on the edge of my seat or had my heart pounding.
The strange opening old man tangent these two go on discussing old man Spider-Man was so entertaining. No context but highly entertaining thanks Mark & Kevin!
Loved the movie. To me, though, The Spectacular Spider-Man Animated Series is still my favorite iteration of the character as it is influenced by the Ditko Lee era. But, yeah Homecoming was great.
something I don't understand: If they cast a white kid to play an indian character everybody grabs the torches and pitchforks and hit the streets. Here, they cast an indian kid to play flash (a blond pasty white kid) and no torches were lit. Can we please just enjoy the movies regardless of who they cast? (unless the guy sucks, of course.)
I think the Red & Black spidey suit we saw was just the MCU version of the Iron Spider costume. I bet you we see him in it by the end of Infinity War or in Avengers 4.
Loved Spider-Man Homecoming in every regard but I feel like they released way too many trailers/clips ect in order to get your ass in the seat. It was overkill to an extent. Like for Thor Ragnarok, the teaser trailer they have released, that's literally all I need to see and you'll have my money. Ill def see homecoming again in theaters
I absolutely loved this movie but I really missed seeing at least 1 sequence of him swinging through the streets of New York and having a spidey sense moment.
Jack Dennis Spidey Sense was in a scene in Civil War when Bucky throws that things at him during the airport fight scene. I missed that too, but it makes sense that he doesn't swing there yet. He's in Queens which is very small compared New York. He's even mentioned in the movie he's never been that high when he's climbing the Washington Monument. Hopefully in the next movies, most like in Infinity War he will. 😊
A list of the Michelle scenes: 1. "I dont have any friends" 2. "I dont have any friends" 3. "My Friends are up there" 4. "I dont have any friends: 5. "My friends call me MJ" K...........?
Then she should have said "My classmates are up there" If she considered them friends earlier, she would have said so, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ALMOST DIED!!!
The VGC You can make any plot or character arc absurd by reducing it to a few lines of text. You're missing how much heavy lifting that girl did with her performance. Very Janis Ian.
I thought Kevin Smith would remember the story line where spiderman gets caught under ruble while water was rising. I was so happy to see them recreate that moment. The only other time I've seen it on screen was in the spectacular spiderman cartoon.
Did anyone notice how Peter mildly distanced himself from Stark at the end? It was a subtle piece of development in the character arch. Peter was a bit less enamored of Stark, in part, due to his realization that it's not the suit, it's the man and also a bit of the narrative that the Vulture expressed to Peter, in terms of Stark essentially having made his fortune by selling weapons. At the beginning of the film, Peter would have gone along with anything Tony asked, at the end he was choosing his own path....
Alejandro333777 Glad someone else can pay attention. I mean Michele does not equal Mary as far as names go. It should be obvious she will just have the same initials as Mary Jane and is a different character.
I also loved the Ferris Bueller homage sequence. I was thinking out loud that it reminded me of it, and then the actual scene is playing on a tv screen in the background to top it off. Excellent moment!
i cracked up at the "i think he's a war criminal now" line. :D the use of cap in this was just hilarious. right down to the naff avengers 1 version of his suit. the "reveal" in this though was fantastic. bit of a the super hero version of "the usual suspects" to me. it just changed the tone totally and in a GREAT way. kudos for being able to keep that such a secret in this day and age.
That kid Spider-Man, and I look forward to seeing the character progress. spoilers Not a huge fan of Pepper being back though, like that they were on a break (up)
that sequence in the car is up there with the opening of inglorious basterds with the conversation in the farm house. people talking and putting the pieces together. so well executed in both cases.

It was identical to that. I said it the second it happened too. "Oh like issue #33"
I was just about to leave a comment about this. When I saw that scene in the movie yesterday, the image of the cover of Amazing Spider-Man Issue #33 popped in my head and what happens in issue. I was really happy they did that in the movie such a good Spider-Man moment brought to life.

I don't think the new suit at the end of the movie was for Miles, I saw it more of a iron spider suit that he turns down, same as the civil war comics. Miles will probably be introduced a long time down the line.
It's the iron spider suit. It's in the infinity war leaked trailer
Hopefully not, majority do not care about Miles....Peter Parker is by far the preferred Spider-Man.
Can't wait for what they do with J Jonah Jameson.
@@DjVader112 ...and because they knew J.K. would be hard to follow, did you see what they did in Far From Home? YEEESSSS!!!
"Penis Parker". The movie was so funny. Show I went to everyone was laughing right until the very last scene. "WTF!" hahah great movie.
The suit at the end is the MCU version of the iron spiderman suit
I Larbed it
I LARBED IT SO MUCH
Nathan Trujillo so you didn't Larbed that scene
I larbed the movie, larbed that scene & I larb your comment!
Patience - Steve Rogers
holy shirt! wu-tang wakannda! I need that! hook me Mark Bernarden!
Spiderman Homecoming was amazing!..i went in thinking it would be okay, but it totally blew my mind and ball sack
So... I've seen nobody mention when Tony Stark mentioned "heroes with a lower pay grade"... and when Adrian Tombs said "We don't need the Avengers or those other guys on our tails."
Uhhh... that sounds ALOT like The Defenders being mentioned.
I love that Wa-Kanda shirt
6:48 HAHAHA way to make use of the outside disturbance "Adrian Toomes backing up--" lmao
The car scene and partially the house scenes definitely proves one thing, Peter needs to work on his pokerface.
Dammage89 he realised his date was being ruined more and more as Liz tells The Vulture nore and more about Peter. This was suppose to be the greatest night of his life but every thing came crumbling down. Emotions got the best of a 15 year old kid.
The Electric Company sang, "Nobody knows who you are!" And I'd always yell, "I know! He's Peter Parker!"
In my opinion Jacob Batalon as Ned stole the show, he was the standout to me
Kevin liked yours and Mark's review of the movie, but how could you forget to mention how good Marisa Tomea was as Aunt Mae.
Man you could pass for Kevin Smith if you dyed your beard.
yeah also if he was taller I am 6'4
Donald Glover and the Miles Morales reference was legit my favorite Easter Egg the whole movie.
My heart was about to jump out my chest i got so excited at that part!
Especially since he is morales in the animated series
I really hope the Marvel can work out whatever problems they have between their movies and Netflix. Homecoming was so close to the Netflix shows. It just makes no sense for them not to reference each other.
The Vulture was selling his weapons to petty criminals, they have to show up in the Netflix shows. There's no way Fisk doesn't know about it and he's smart enough to buy the Vulture's weapons. The Defenders are facing a threat to the whole city, it wouldn't make sense if they don't reference that in a Spider-Man sequel.
KingOfMadCows i agree
KingOfMadCows I agree. Marvel would be dumb fucks to not realize that. biggest holes in the MCU.
Logan, WW, Spidey
These movies were awesome and amazing superhero movies, but each one was also a good movie in general, able to compete with other good movies of any genre.
GOTG Vol. 2 also succeeded
Not WW. Not good compared to movies of any genre.
Love the genuine enthusiastic rambling that lasts the whole video. Feels like you're listening to your friends talk and gush about how much they love something.
I've always said that Tobey was the better Peter Parker but Andrew was the better Spider-man. Tom Holland though....THE BEST OF BOTH!
Mark Bernardin, around 17 minutes and some change in, you perfectly define what makes Spiderman so endearing. Thanks.
Black Panther Trailer, baby. Wooo, man. Chad hitting home runs. Hardest workin' cat in showbiz.
I haven´t even watched the video, but I already know it made Kevin weep because it was everything he dreamed of and we all should be thankful.
"I say penis you say Parker!" -Flash
Flash missed the obvious. Shoulda been "I say Peter you say Pecker!"
F Hansson a little kid at my cinema was asking his dad why they were saying that. it was so weird hearing a man explain a penis joke his young child
F Hansson best joke
Mo omg 😂
terrible character
You guys always hit the nail on the coffin and take the words out of my mouth..
just got back.... holy shit. marvel again!!!
amazing movie. is it better than spiderman 2? i really cant say, they are just both different thats for sure. But this movie was amazing.
COREY M The Marvel magic. 20th Century Fox better follow what Sony did for Spider-Man. And give Marvel full control of the Fantastic 4.
I'm expecting that to happen once Homecoming makes all the monies
And yes, absolutely make the car scene more personal and introspective for Toomes and Peter by having it in 1 shot, though still beautifully shot as is.
superkeaton I also felt the Stark echoback was a bit cornbally.
How awesome would it be if Avenger's Tower was sold to become 4 Freedoms Plaza?
I want this so bad
JB TwoFour more realistically it's either the future oscorp tower or daily bugle.
My guess would be Oscorp (as they already discussed that in the past). However! A man can dream!
Still holding out for it to be the Baxter Building
Marisa Tomei stole the show.
This was my favorite Spider-Man movie of all time. The only thing I can think of to complain about is the Tony voice over happening when Peter is trapped, everyone knew what was happening. Other than that, I loved every freaking second of it.
wasnt it 500 something web shooting combos?
another fun fact is that sam from freaks and geeks wrote this film, bill played the maths teacher and this is 15 years after daniel played harry osbourne
Okay, I want one of the "Wu-Tang" Wakanda shirts!!!
Same here.
me too
Nice to see Marc in the animation, also Marc makes me want to see the film all over again, Kev too but that explanation of the car scene. Awesome stuff Marc. Tyvm.
That Miles Morales tease though
Yesss!!
Where? When? First thought seeing Ned was "Ganke!"
Jon Wilson !!!SPOILERS!!! Donald Glover plays a character who becomes prowler from ultimate comics. Prowler is the uncle of Miles Morales, hence the throwaway line "I don't want these weapons on the streets, my nephew lives around here"
jbelden319 Oh! I caught the Prowler bit! Can't believe I missed the nephew reference.
jbelden319 Donald Glover is also the voice of Miles Morales in Ultimate Spider-Man.
Kinda surprised that you guys didn't talk about that funny little Aunt May bit right at the end. "What the F...?" HAHAHA, the whole theater burst out laughing it was great. =D
I'd web Aunt May
When Bernardin was talking about Spiderman nearing the end of a goal, but just missing it, made me realize how much I love Spiderman because he keeps going. the rocky analogy is spot on and perfect.
Entire sequence from the doorstep, plot twist, entire car ride and Keaton piecing it all together and then the 1-on-1 talk, one of the best sequences this century in a comic book film
DeVaughn Brown gtfo marvel buttboy
I only speak the truth respect his opinion man you can enjoy both dc and marvel ✌
I buy 99% DC comics each NCBD and I haven't been even keeping up with Marvel comics outside of Spider-Man and Star Wars, but ok I'm a Marvel buttboy lmao
Oh, and in case you want back-up for that: instagram.com/blacknerd94/
Spider-Man Homecoming is the best superhero of this year so far and the best of the last 5 years IMO. Can't wait for Thor 3 and Justice League though!
Michael G You prefer wonder woman over logan?
I respectfully disagree. I found myself bored in the theater. Maybe it was because it was the 6th Spider-Man film, i don't know. Nothing had me on the edge of my seat or had my heart pounding.
Umm nope it was an ok movie Logan and Wonder Woman are definitely the best superhero movies to come out so far this year oh and guardians 2
mason lawson Guardiams 2 and Wonder Woman were more on par with Homecoming. Logan was way better than those.
The strange opening old man tangent these two go on discussing old man Spider-Man was so entertaining. No context but highly entertaining thanks Mark & Kevin!
WHERE DID MARC get that WAKANDA SHIRT
Great job again guys!!! Love watching
Loved the movie. To me, though, The Spectacular Spider-Man Animated Series is still my favorite iteration of the character as it is influenced by the Ditko Lee era. But, yeah Homecoming was great.
Marc and Kevin are the best reviewers. It feels like we're hanging in someone's kitchen rapping about this flick. Always love the enthusiasm.
something I don't understand:
If they cast a white kid to play an indian character everybody grabs the torches and pitchforks and hit the streets. Here, they cast an indian kid to play flash (a blond pasty white kid) and no torches were lit.
Can we please just enjoy the movies regardless of who they cast? (unless the guy sucks, of course.)
It's because there's ENDLESS roles for whites. When you whitewash one of the few brown characters, it's a big deal. Critical thinking is your friend.
"Here is my hot-take"
*Garbage truck starts backing up*
Well if that isn't a perfect example of the old 'Parker Luck' I don't know what is Lol.
Greatest after credit scene ever easily no question, step aside shawarma.
They didn't give away the twist though.
@ 25:02 Kevin's yell reminds me of the "Wobble" yell from the song.
I have to say, you guys called it regarding MJ back when the first trailer dropped. Kudos!
fun observation....when tony was going through programs in Age of Ultron, to install as the new voice for the Iron Man suite, he passes over Jakosta?
I absolutely loved this movie but I really missed seeing at least 1 sequence of him swinging through the streets of New York and having a spidey sense moment.
Jack Dennis Spidey Sense was in a scene in Civil War when Bucky throws that things at him during the airport fight scene.
I missed that too, but it makes sense that he doesn't swing there yet. He's in Queens which is very small compared New York. He's even mentioned in the movie he's never been that high when he's climbing the Washington Monument. Hopefully in the next movies, most like in Infinity War he will. 😊
The best scene when he shoots a web up in the air.,.... then runs. This is what every Spider Man fan thought while reading the comic. PERFECT!
A list of the Michelle scenes:
1. "I dont have any friends"
2. "I dont have any friends"
3. "My Friends are up there"
4. "I dont have any friends:
5. "My friends call me MJ"
K...........?
The VGC that's why no one called her mj because she had no friends till the end of the movie.
Then she should have said "My classmates are up there"
If she considered them friends earlier, she would have said so, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ALMOST DIED!!!
she was fucking awful
This stupid comment thread
The VGC
You can make any plot or character arc absurd by reducing it to a few lines of text.
Danny Seagren is the original live action spider-man from the electric company
Did anyone notice how Peter mildly distanced himself from Stark at the end? It was a subtle piece of development in the character arch.
Peter was a bit less enamored of Stark, in part, due to his realization that it's not the suit, it's the man and also a bit of the narrative that the Vulture expressed to Peter, in terms of Stark essentially having made his fortune by selling weapons.
At the beginning of the film, Peter would have gone along with anything Tony asked, at the end he was choosing his own path....
Kevin feige says that she isn't Mary Jane Watson it was just a wink wink nudge nudge
Alejandro333777 Glad someone else can pay attention. I mean Michele does not equal Mary as far as names go. It should be obvious she will just have the same initials as Mary Jane and is a different character.
did anyone catch the Spiderman theme song being played during the Marvel logo intro? And what's up with no nod to Marisa Tomei's "wtf!" moment??
I always assumed that they didn't use the name "Mary Jane" because it's commonly used to describe pot.
I also loved the Ferris Bueller homage sequence. I was thinking out loud that it reminded me of it, and then the actual scene is playing on a tv screen in the background to top it off. Excellent moment!
Zendaya is Michael Jackson?
drew gordon lmao
Zendaya is Michael Jordan. Tall girl.
that car ride to the prom had me sweating. great use of tension
YES, love me some Rick and Morty references
12:55 "He's just a kid." Even though Tobey Maguire is clearly 72 years old. LMAO!!!!!
Naw man take this off I got Ice Cream in this trunk
i cracked up at the "i think he's a war criminal now" line.
That kid Spider-Man, and I look forward to seeing the character progress.
spoilers
Not a huge fan of Pepper being back though, like that they were on a break (up)
that sequence in the car is up there with the opening of inglorious basterds with the conversation in the farm house. people talking and putting the pieces together. so well executed in both cases.
Marcs shirt wins
