Our last day in Jaipur - Annika's happy reunion with Papa & sad goodbyes to grandparents

- After a couple of weeks of winter holiday and even a terrible hospital experience in Jaipur without her dear papa, Annika got a big surprise one fine morning and was finally reunited with Daddy. Finally we were also able to enjoy our winter holiday in true Indian style as one big happy family, once Annika's bua Sangeeta and Yug bhaiya joined us too. So we happily enjoyed all the delicious North Indian food (ghar ka khana), playing outdoors and just simply time together before we had to return to our Kerala home after several weeks of travelling all across India.

My name is Johanna North. I’m a Finnish woman travelling in India since 2016. In 2019 I married my Indian husband and we moved to the state of Kerala in southern India, where we are still living. In 2021 we welcomed our baby girl into this world. On this channel I share videos on blending our Finnish-Indian family life, culture, food and travel mostly in India, and sometimes in Finland too.

As rightly said by Johanna it was really heartening to see how Annika wants everyone to involve themselves in the Pooja. Calling dadi, papa everyone one by one. 😊
Oh yes she always wants everyone together to do what she wants - she wants us all to sing together, play together, she’s even teaching us yoga in addition to pooja! 😅❤

This one was a very emotional Vlog...We've now almost start feeling Annika's emotions....staying away from Dad and then meeting him...spending time with Grandparents and Bua and then saying goodbye...these experiences are going to help her evolve as a person...She is going to grow into a wonderful human being ❤❤❤

I hope it’s also clear that i haven’t changed myself at all to fit in the family. They allow me to be me, as I also dont try to change Mommy and Daddy’s way of living, even if we all sometimes need to make compromises for each other 😊 but respect always goes both ways!

Not only Annika her father too was very happy to reunite with his little daughter. I can feel how hard it is to stay away from your child because of your work especially when she is seriously ill. Wish your family all the good luck.

It’s an eternal struggle for me if I should make my videos shorter (preference of especially new viewers on TH-cam recommendations) or keep them longer (often my personal preference and that of Annika fans too 🥲❤️) 😅
So happy to see Annika normal after big scare. She is so beautifully engaging everyone in to daily activities including puja!.. it’s just so heart warming. Her love for her dadi and her cooking is so adorable.. makes me realize how much time Indian women spends in kitchen making fresh meals! Enjoying watching all missed post since I am back home now.

@@JohannaNorth I remember mentioning one time that you make me feel like I also have a daughter living in India! So yes I was eagerly waiting to watch your post dear. Every one there was sick a lot so my visit was little stressful and worry some.
Many many happy reunions and sad goodbyes... I don't know how these kids manage all these so easily which is very difficult for adults though...thats why we all want to go back to our childhood days again😊

My kids also love kadhi but since their dadi makes it for us every week, I haven't bothered to learn how to. I think it's high time I learn too😊

I don’t really teach Annika Finnish per se, I just talk to her a lot and make sure she hears lots of Finnish music or shows. Exposure to a language is the way kids absorb and learn the best 😊
