This is why we love you. At one point you apologize for having a “primitive” looking tool, but that’s what makes u so cool! You do beyond awesome things with basic tools! Ur provide true inspiration! 👑👑👑
Don't apologise, mate. In my country, Australia, there's a saying, necessity is the mother of invention. You needed a tool to engrave the tops of those rivets n you made one. 👍👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Don't feel sorry for your tools, dude... You do an awesome job with all you have - and, the most important thing, you do it with joy! Great work! May you live long, happy and in peace!
Truly spectacular! Another piece of history saved from the ages, for the ages! It is a privilege honor and joy to be able to watch your work, Thank You for all the videos!
To be honest, I don't think I've seen a blade of any kind in better condition than this one. It must have been a real pleasure to work on something that wasn't either all rust or falling to bits as soon as you look at it. I know you give all your projects the highest standard of work, but if you're like me, when something is that good, you feel extra incentive to do your best work on it. What I really like about this channel is that you aren't afraid to show your mistakes. It's nice to see that master craftsmen can make errors, too!
The fact that the dagger was personal and had, what I assume was, someone's initials makes it so much more special! I'm sure it was a loved dagger and if it's owner could see what you did, they would be overjoyed with your work!
I have watched 5 of your videos now. I am just amazed at the fine work you continue to produce with the minimum of tools. Thank you for sharing. I find your videos very honest. It’s great you include the occasional ‘mistakes’ too. But you also show how you rethink the error and find a solution to the problem. 😊
Don" apologize for your tools. The work you do is superb. If this helps you get new tools, AWESOME! It is obvious you are a skilled artisan. Keep it coming!
I was impressed with how much craftsmanship you showed. I've watched a lot of other restoration channels, many of them use modern power equipment to simplify their results. Not that it's a bad thing, but it's their style. You use tools that old time craftsmen used to create or repair their products. Your knowledge and skills with these tools are excellent. Many times during the video I couldn't understand why you were doing certain things, until you started putting it all together and came out with this excellent dagger and scabbard. Well done my friend; happy to subscribe to your channel and see more.
Greetings! I am very happy for the feedback, it is important to me. Yes, modern expensive equipment is convenient and good. But they are also very expensive, while I am studying and using old tools, but if possible I will need to buy a couple. For example, a sandblaster that will make it easier for me to remove rust, a metal lathe, etc.))

Да, почему то казалось что длительность видео меня оттолкнёт от просмотра, но эти опасения не сбылись. Желаю дальнейших успехов!
Nice work ,I was looking at one of your early restoration projects the other day and your workmanship has come along in leaps and bounds . Good that you didn't alter that old blade in any way .
И каждый каждый раз при одинаковых шагах получается что то невероятное) и не похожее! Отличное видео, спасибо) Ожидаем ширОкого лезвия - чтоб было где разгуляться ;-)
That was not so much the restoration of a dagger but the creation of a handle and scabbard worthy of the history of the blade. It's beautiful! I must say this, though; if that's a dagger I'd hate to see a sword.
You are an inspiring craftsman! You demonstrate, time and time again, your skill by doing such brilliant work with what you call “primitive tools”… It is a credit to your skill and creativity that you are able to create such masterpieces with mostly hand tools! Very well done!
That is a labor of love. I like how - on Caucasian scabbards - the work is nice, but it is not perfect. It has a human element and does not look machined.
With all the Caucasian blades you fix, I'm surprised you don't have a drawer full of those pins already pre-made 😮. But then again I do like seeing you make everything by hand 🤔. Oh well, as long as you keep saving these poor old blades I'm happy 😄
That was super entertaining, and I love the result. Amazing that you did those bolts' decorations with a broken file. One of my favourite videos you have done. (Work on your sword technique, though... you left your ribs exposed to a counter thrust several times LOL)
If you think the metal carving was a fluke; behold, he masterfully duplicates the carvings, beautifully again. My Lord, this dude is the best metalworker I have ever seen, and i am an old dude. Great job.
