Come across this video on Google,just wanna say this video was a massive help mate,1st time doing a shock replacement on the drive,replaced both sides & also new top mounts 👌🏻
Used a grinder on the old shocks to get the bump stops & covers off each one

Thank you for the vid. I'm looking at replacing the top shock mount too, along with the new shock. I wish you showed installation of the shock onto the mount. Guessing that is a 2 person job? One person holds the shock step still, and the other person turns the 15 mm angle spanner?

Thanks Raul, do I need to worry about setting the correct riding height or is just lifting the hub to match with shock absorber to put the bolt through enough as per video? thankyou
Thanks for watching really appreciate. That's right you dont have to do anything just put the bolt through and your good to go. If yours is the air suspension or hydro pneumatic maybe you have. But if its plain standard like mine then bolt in tighten and your good to go.

That’s a lie, rear passenger side is different, your gonna have trouble taking it off since there’s a lot of parts on the way of the top strut
What you on about I replaced both sides exactly the same way but obviously just showed one side.
I just watched your video to change the shocks my 2015 Audi A3 4-door sedan and it's got all kinds of evap system and fuel line stuff in the way. Very big pain. So the poster above is dead right@@TEAMR4ULTV
