I really like the concept of having a notebook along with my planner. Although my planner already has additional lined pages, I tend to use them less often. Instead, I usually opt for either my notebook or sticky notes. I appreciate the disc bond system as it provides me with the flexibility to personalize it according to my preferences. I am quite selective when it comes to planners and calendars, and this way, I can have a planner that is tailored specifically to my needs. Thank you for sharing.

I use a 2 book planner and notebook system! One is solely my planner and collections. The other is a blank notebook for my dailies that includes everything! Journaling, notes, scratch writing, daily todos. It’s a bullet journal in conjunction with my planner!

Second, I thought i was different because i started with a planner this year but needed a journal to process my schedule and life so i switched to journal only then i started missing my planner so i got a planner and a journal for next year. When I first saw you do this a few years ago....something clicked for me. I have now been carrying around a messy notebook and a planner. This helps me sort through my thoughts. Sometimes, if I feel I want to be creative, I might decorate a page or two in my notebook. Thank you for showing me this game changer!
I have ONE planner and a TN as a side note book to keep track of my goings on. I cant keep it all in my head, however I need plenty of information to function. I call it my garage. Where every thing goes too to keep safe. And to use my thoughts to press on to my plans.
I am purchasing a mini notebook from Notiq, 7 disc size so that I may carry that around in my purse. I’m glad this system works for you, but I’m going to attempt to just use the planner and one notebook. … I’m gonna try😅

Have you tried adding brainstorming pages as a section in the back of your planner? I was considering that plus a tiny notebook in my purse which is too small for a leuchtturm notebook.
What percentage do you set in your printer for 9x7 pages? I find that I don’t use my hard bound notebooks for some reason and I don’t need letter sized for notes. I would love to print out 9x7 pages.

I went through something similar some years ago. I thought it was overkill but just realized it's the way my brain works
The back of an envelope.....various post-it notes......the back of a receipt....Yes. notebook needed.😊

I like this type of notebook better than a planner I will just write a to do list n not put a date or deadline on it to feel overwhelmed
