- Treasure islands are fun but aren't the best way to get items. Drop bots are far quicker and easier to use and are one of my favourite methods to get items. If you've never tried ACNH drop bots before, today's video will show you how they work and why you will want to try these over any other Animal Crossing discord bot.

This video popped up in my recommendations and I’m so happy that Tessa’s islands and services were mentioned - I’m a long time user and I appreciate their hard work so much. The drop bot might look complicated to use, but it’s very intuitive once you use it a couple times! 🌟
Aww yay! I've used Tessa's islands for about a year myself and they have been incredibly helpful when I've been decorating. The team are all super lovely and work really hard to provide the islands for everyone. I genuinely cannot say enough good things about them. The drop bot can be complicated to begin with but yes, once you understand the four basic commands, it makes so much sense to order items using it 😊
Treasure islands, order bots, drop bots... there're several good options of getting the things you need in ACNH, and they do look convenient. If I had Nintendo Switch Online, maybe I would've considered them. Maybe. But, since that's not the case, I'm sure other players will find them all handy. Besides, while it wouldn't easy getting anything I needed myself, at least I could do it without having to spend any real money.
I guess there is more ease in using drop bots than in all the searching done on treasure islands.
It really depends on the circumstance. I use a combination of all the bots in different situations to get a hold of everything I need, but I totally understand why you aren't able to use them Jake 😊
Another one of your videos popped up in my feed and it led me to this one. I just recently found out about treasure islands, and I have been playing New Horizons since launch. I have acquired a lot of items like most of us , but could never find the decayed tree, and I wanted it desperately. Found the DIY on one of the treasure islands, and I am amazed at what you can find on them. I appreciate all the work they put into them, and even though you have to have a lot of patience , it is still amazing to be able to get so much. The drop box process sounds a bit complicated, but also tempting as now I have been searching for a throne and so far, no luck . Thank you so much for your videos, they are very informative.😊

I usally go to tresure islands but its so annoying when people come in and out. I'll try this out for sure!
It is frustrating, definitely going to an island which is quieter is better and Tessa's have been super quiet for me. Hopefully they can help you out too!
drop bots have become my favorite way of acquiring specific items or a lot of items of a particular color. the order bots I've used tend to give you a ton of items of random colors and drop bots allows me to only get what i need. i still like using treasure islands tho, when im in the right mood for them. it feels like window shopping and sometimes I'll find things for my build i hadn't considered.
also wanted to say i use Pange Plays treasure islands/drop bots. she has free and paid islands. the subscription is only $4/month

Hello, idk if you are ever going to do dream island tours but I just finished a Christmas Island that I started last year at Christmas lol.
That's amazing! I actually have dream address tour requests open. If you go into the community tab page on my channel, there is a post in there asking for Christmas and fall islands for upcoming videos 😊
This is good because anytime I try to go to a treasure island my WiFi kills it self and stops me and this is helpful

If i need something more specific i will use this method but if i need something more on the general side i will use treasure islands instead but either way I’ll use both methods to be as precise as mrs drop bot
I might also use mrs drop bot if there is no treasure islands available at said time
That’s pretty much how I handle it too. There’s pros and cons to all of the methods for getting items for decorating and I personally love using drop bots when there are only a couple of items I want and either treasure islands are really busy or I’m not ordering enough to warrant using an order bot
Although i love treasure islands i really love this method too
I might use this in addition to treasure islands to mix things up

Same! I either pick up more than I planned or see something else that would look nice. Plus I don’t have time to type in XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX to get a festival garland when I can just go to the section F, which most treasure islands are alphabetical anyway or if you’re subscribed you can get a map based on your find command
It really depends on how you prefer to look for items. I personally use a mixture of both treasure islands and drop bots. Like you say, if you want to browse for items then treasure islands are amazing, but if you know what you want and you are mid build, it can sometimes be quicker to use a drop bot on a quiet island than trying to deal with long queues for Twitch treasure islands. 😊

I personally dislike treasure islands :( i miss actually getting stuff and saving up for it. Now the most wanted villagers are sold for free on nookazon, and no one is selling items anymore
I dont really have anything against treasure islands, use it if you want, but i just wish it didnt exist
I understand completely. They aren't for everyone, but they are there as a tool for those who do want to use them. It is sad that the trading element is not as prevalent as what it once was but I'm glad now that villagers are not selling for thousands of tickets like they once were!
