That band JD comes to entertain every single time. They never disappoint what a talented group of young men and women. I know Justin gets a lot of attention bc he's a rarity. But every one them are are special. I love that he always mentions that given the opportunity he is nothing without them. Love this band the most. I'm biased lol
All drum majors are band members and are usually the elite at whatever instrument they play. Those are the only individuals allowed to tryout for drum major. At least that's how it was when I was in marching band from junior high through senior high.
Wow, JD bandleader pushes those kids to the limit. They could be college level. Loved the jazz fusion number and the choreography including the use of their flag girls in 3rd number, awesome. See why Jeff Davis wins dance part of state band competitions. Happy to see Justin Heideman used where he's needed.
wow wow wow .... definitely the arrangements and melodies of JD are more contagious, it is another level, congratulations howard !!! However, when Selma's percussion started ... I thought it would be insurmountable ... I think nothing takes away the slightest mistakes, but JD also attacked with musical gestures typical of professionals, ... what a joy, to see this, and justin's dance, waooooooo I love heideman !!! quite a dancer and leader ..... reminds me of another that marked my life: ohno satoshi !!! thanks guys, cheer my life greetings from Peru.

I got a big kick out of Justin aka Vanilla Funk. I didn’t know that he played trumpet. I love watching the Jeff Davis band they are terrific and their drumline is tight.
@ 20:36 dude on far right lost his drum stick and still did the motions as if he was playing , now that's being professional! You could tell he was saying all kinds of swear words in his head, without mouthing them! That's ok, I was saying them for him!! Woot Woot! Drum on brother!

Yes dig a little into Jefferson Davis history ,,, he adopted a black son and gave him his freedom ..., I believe he sold his land to his slave ,,, he did all he could not to go to war ... just saying .... but that’s another thing ,,, these kids are awesomely entertaining hope this virus is done soon so we may enjoy more of them. ... stay safe everyone

Twirlers you need to twirl if you have a baton in your hands. Do not just keep it in a cradle position. If you don’t want to twirl, tryout for dance
