    India has everything for everyone whether its rich or poor. The amount of money Koreans spend in their country and in European/Western countries while travelling if they spent in India then they will get far better facilities than anywhere in the world. But most of these travelers (not Backpackers) tend to travel cheap and then complain about it. You get what you spend. Don't expect luxury when you are just being cheap.

    • @Xentradi97
      @Xentradi97 3 ปีที่แล้ว +32

      Yes but countries like India the choices is limited as it has huge wealth gap. While I'm sure there are luxury first class that only top 1~5% could afford, most facilities and infrastructure are poor compared to many developed nations. Try traveling to other countries. Many of them also have everything for everyone rich and poor. But overall standard even the budget ones are better. If that reality offends you in some way then that's unfortunate.

    • @aryant1884
      @aryant1884 3 ปีที่แล้ว +139

      @@Xentradi97 Dude! India is not a developed country. India is still a developing country with huge population which needs structural changes. Most Indians are still below middle class but still India does a great job in providing everything for everyone despite population and lack of resources being a huge disadvantage unlike "First World Countries". You can't be comparing India with developed nations.
      It's clearly a high production show with famous South Korean actresses and they could a planned complete travel to India with enough budget to stay in 5 Star Hotels, Hire private Cabs, Travel Buses and travel help guide or agent. But no they want to travel in the crowded general class cabs and trains and are shocked how unordered, dirty and filthy they're.

    • @Xentradi97
      @Xentradi97 3 ปีที่แล้ว +21

      @@aryant1884 Yes we all know that but this is not a clip to show understanding but to get a real reaction of a first time tourists to India. And is it a surprise for foreigners to react the way they did first time seeing India no matter what the expectation was?
      Or would you rather they only showed where all the wealthy people hang out in India. Would that be a realistic representation of what India is? I understand how you feel if the negative side of the country is shown but it's not a mis-representation is it? It's obvious that they wanted to the most authentic experience not an idealistic India tourism board postcard experience.

    • @aryant1884
      @aryant1884 3 ปีที่แล้ว +77

      @@Xentradi97 Yes. It's not wrong representation but partial representation and partial representation is far more dangerous which enforces and engrains wrong harmful stereotypes and prejudices against Indians. And the people who suffer from these prejudices and stereotypes are the Indians who travel or live to these countries. Just ask how "Appu" from "The Simpsons" or Raj from "Big Bang theory" and many others was and still the bane of existence of many Indians living in the U.S. and how much bullying Indian children have to endure in the school. How Indians have to face these stereotypes in their high school, college and dating life.
      Imagine if we show only High Suicide Rates, Sexual Scandals in Entertainment Industry, and Dog eating people(BTW which exist in SK) whenever we talk about South Korea.

    • @Xentradi97
      @Xentradi97 3 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      @@aryant1884 It's a travelogue, and foreigners perspective is their perspective and experience. Many foreigners do talk about suicide rate and scandals, but that's a social issues not the impression of travellers.
      India is not an easy place for tourists, even for a developing country standards. That's a fact. It's overly crowded, polluted, and as soon as you land you're bombarded with noise, chaos, smell, etc....There are many travelogues to India on social media including some of the top travellers. The negative things covered in this video is nothing new.
      But the clip doesn't only show the negative things as tourists made attempts to get to know the country.
      I think you're mad at the wrong things.

Korea has no political agenda with India, that doesn't even make sense. there are lots of american shows that shows India like this or worst and you think it's because they want India to perpetually look bad? Lol give me a break, the US doesn't care enough about that. What possible logical reason would the us, Korea, or any other country who has shown the "bad" side of India have to do this? This is surely portraying a bad picture about my country to Koreans who are already skeptical about India. I am sure if you have decided to visit some other places other than this , the experience would have been more beautiful. India is more than what you see here. If you come for a vacation, go see some places like Goa, Gokarna, hill stations in Karnataka, Kerala and Tamilnadu to the south of India and Gangtok, Shimla, Himachal, and lot more . India is a country with 28 different states and as many different languages and that many different climate. So, don’t generalize India by showing just the Delhi. I live in South India. I work in Bangalore . I know for a fact that if you come to Bangalore or any metropolitan cities , you get good cabs ( not the shabby ones you showed here) from airport and there are apps which help your commute. If you go to rural India , the experience will be totally different from what you get in urban India. If you want to experience real India, get a good local guide ( after proper research) and take a trip from Kashmir in the North of India to Kanyakumari in the South of India. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS CONTENT. When people with money decide to travel poor , it is so disappointing that it only portrays a wrong impression about my country to people who wish to visit India.

Even though the standard of Air Quality or the Environment might not be as good as South Korea we do have many nice streets, localities, restaurants, hotels, cars, people as well and I find it very offensive and ridiculous whenever any foreign national celebrity or vlogger or movies try to rub off Indians as turban wearing, dark brown, unhygienic, loud, naan eating people who listens to some classical Indian music from 20th century. But, my father who has worked all his life in the Railways, insists that this Domestic-Flights-For-Every-Trip Generation would never know where the real India resides if they have not travelled in these local non-AC trains.

If you want better quality of things you are gonna have to spend some more and I am actually beginning to think that this is exactly how the media wants to portray India, this poor country with no good living standard.
