Shows the team spirit even his 50/50 after Joe lost it you could see him grit his teeth as he went in.
Great too see so few injured players welcoming the team after the game! Last year it was great to see the togetherness of it all, but there were so many of them waiting outside the locker room.

I love seeing the game from pitch side because you realise just how fast the game is and how fine the margin for error is, the standard in the league is so high in terms of speed and fitness that momentum and luck play such a big part for any team in the league, any team truly has a chance. Regardless, gritty performance especially from the Brazilians and the local lads; special shout to Hall who, despite a couple of unforced errors, pulled off a game saving clearance.
Good job highlighting exactly how appalling this referee was. I don't think it is bias or corruption, just absolute incompetence.

Brilliant defensive performance and pure justice and such a pathetic red card. Never a good idea putting your head in like that and Schar should've known better. Not getting carried away after one result, but have a good feeling we can do some damage this season and the player's seem to want it more than us hopeful fans. We shall see.

Ref was atrocious in that game. Not just the red, the whole match he let Southampton get away with so much but pulled Newcastle up for everything. Look at the yellow for Hall. How Diaz didn't two yellows beggars belief.
Sluggish start from the boys but ended up with the W anyways and with 10 men... Thought Lloyed showed why we signed him as well!

We done unbelievably well to get the 3 points, just a shame we’ve lost Schar for the next 3 games as we are now short of numbers. Doesn’t help that the “superstar executive” brought in to replace Ashworth and Stavely/Mehrdad has been utter shite in his first window and tbh embarrassed the club with his pitiful negotiating, Palace have always said the value of Guehi and if he’s out top target as reported then we really shouldn’t be dragging our feet so much over 5 million. This summer has been genuinely dreadful in terms of bringing players in to improve us, we literally haven’t brought anyone in that improves our starting 11 and I still fully expect us to sell someone like Gordon before the end of the window, if this happens I’ll be the first to say Mitchell can get on his bike. Time for action in the last 10 days of the window or we will be looking at a mid table finish at best.
