Yep. First engine I bought had the same failure. I bought a complete gear set with shaft. You can’t buy the shaft on its own. Worked for a few months and broke again. This time the crankcase got damaged. I have now got all parts to make the repair but this time I want to see if I can get the shaft nitrile hardened strengthened somehow. Last time I was kick start only. This time I will try electric start only. But yes the chain is very small. The gear shaft is very weak caused by sharp edges for a circlip.
Best is Just bumpstarting it, i will get the kickstarter Out of this engine because Mine broke again when i repaired it.

These 190s use a starter chain from a 50cc, it's too week and it snaps sometimes even taking the the casing with it. The improperly set decompression mechanism dosent help. Finding neutral on these is impossible due to sloppy honda cub style shifter wich shifts 2 more gears than it was designed for
The Problem was that this engine had a kickback and it snaped the kickstarter idle gear wave. I ordered it and the engine will run soon.

Parts on ebay. the 190 cc not good to kick over it better to just use the electric start your not supposed to keep kicking it if it doesn't start first kick your supposed to push to tdc them push down if you have to start it that way.this is a common problem along with the shit star mod👍✌️👌💯🏍️🥂🇺🇸

So how much kicking did it course to ruin it as I have a completely brand-new engine, and because I didn’t know about this, I tried to kick it maybe like two or three times but now I just sounds like it doesn’t have any compression it’s a literally a $2000 engine brand new out the box with the supposed 212cc 4 valve head and yeah I’m already having this issue what a joke I haven’t even had the engine running it’s completely brand new I’m still waiting for the right wiring harness for it but yeah I’ll be be furious if it’s literally broken after like five attempts of kicking it any advice again how much did you kick start your bike before this issue occurred ???
The new shaft broke after just one ride. i then got the original repaired at a local tool repair shop. It worked then but i sold the Bike after that.

kawasaki klx 110? maybe can upgrade to 65mm bore...
and add some spacer for stroke size.
I guess the best would be daytona 190..
All in all i cant talk to good about these engines. An YX 175 or something like that is way better

@@fingerstyleguitarfaizee9888 After installing the new output shaft i rode to times and it broke again while kicking.. afterwards i removed the whole kickstarter assembly and repaired the original shaft. It worked since then but you had to bump start it all the time. I sold the whole bike a while ago. You can see the Video of in running on my Channel.
At the time iam working on an Offroad Kart i built a while ago. I planning to Upload an Video about it.

how to fix an zs 190: buy an yx 190^^
My 190 is making a clank noise when I try to shift, it walks a little then does the clank noise. Could this be the same problem ?
Tear it apart.
Have a look at the shift claws and the Gears. If something seems worn replace it.
Where can I get the shaft from ?
Only thing you can buy is the whole gearbox on ebay. I bought it and it lasted me one ride. It was made out of very cheap materials. Then i brought the original shaft to a tool repair company, who repaired it for me. I endet up removing the whole kickstart assembly and just bump starting it from then.
All in all i wouldn recommend that engine to anyone. It is good power to price ratio but the quality is thrash. Rather get an yx160 which is powerful too, and you can do bigbore swaps if you would want that.
Wie stelle ich den zündzeitpunkt ein?
An der Zündung vom Pitbike lässt sich nicht viel einstellen, lediglich der abstand vom magnetsensor zum polradmagneten.
Wichtig ist, das das Steuerkettentiming ordentlich gesetzt ist.
