SMN is up there with golden-age Jon Stewart Daily Show. Funny facts backed up by sobering evidence and citations.

@@NotoriousLightning Nah honestly, it's a fairly apt comparison I think. They're far more left-leaning (which is a good thing, as it was one of my less favorite parts of Stewart), but their heavily satirical brand of humor is very clearly inspired by Jon Stewart, and I say that as a good thing. It's also evident that they care _a lot_ (maybe too much for their own good, also arguably a quality of Stewart).
I also think it _also_ goes without saying that there's not really anybody that could replace the guy

_Some More News_ is awesome! And Cody & Katy! For anyone who doesn't know, they're guests on more episodes of the pod! I can only remember one set off the top of my head, though, a multi-parter: they had a laugh reading/skimming one of Ben Shapiro's terrible books.

This is a really fun listen after learning today that Tucker just left (got fired from?) Fox News.
He's trying to go independent, but so far without much success. He's got a web-show that no-one watches, in which he rants the kind of insane claims that even Fox wouldn't air, and is trying to raise money to start his own media company. So far though, it seems he is nothing without Fox.
I guess you could say he got caught in the crossfire!

i good way to tell him its bs is to continually tell him these people neither like or respect his intelligence as a human being repeatedly this probably won't work at first but with enough subtle application you can plant a seed of doubt it probably won't work but it also might
My dad has been occupying Fox territory for decades now and I really miss the man he used to be.
You guys should engage with your audience more on here. I know this isn't your primary platform, but TH-cam doesn't have the best SEO for long form content, so you have to do some legwork yourself.
Some examples are: encouraging people to like and share your videos, liking comments (you know even if it's just the generic ones, "awesome a new episode!"), Making a post with your plugables and pinning it (even if it's some of the same stuff from the description), and even making community posts (you could do one per series sharing images of the various bastards or events tied to what the podcasts are about).
There is certainly an audience for your content, and for long form content in general. It's just a bit of an uphill battle with the way that TH-cam does recommendations if your video is more than 10-20 minutes long.
Anyways I just thought I would mention the stuff I have seen popular long form creators do on TH-cam with the hope that it might help you grow on this platform as well. I think that you make really great content, and you should have the audience to reflect that fact 💜
