Hello from India. Loved the in-depth podcast. Only one thing to add here. The swastika symbol is a super ancient Hindu symbol, a symbol of prosperity when drawn straight. Tilt it as in Italics font and there you have the nazi swastika. It's unfortunate that Hitler used this symbol because it was a super auspicious Hindu symbol since waaaaay before Hitler was born.
you can find them in temples in japan, so i think its buddhist too (i know they're technically shinto but shinto is basically buddhism with some state worship tacked onto it)
