1/24 Eaglemoss Russia Mil MI-24 Hind attack helicopter build part 1

Starting the build on a super rare 1/24 Mil MI-24v Hind helicopter gunship from the now defunct Eaglemoss Russia, this is probably the only english speaking channel to be building this partwork model on all of TH-cam.

The helicopter in Rambo 3 was a modified Puma with some wings bolted on and a paintjob, and my knuckles are still a bit tender...LOL

Very cool! I was in the Air Force for 20yrs and was privileged to be a part of the START (Treaty) and spent some time in Russia. Helicopters weren't part of all that.. but I can just about guarantee those cockpit fans were in lue of air-conditioning... Everything over there is utilitarian...
If someone would just do an AirWolf kit that size and detail! The two Helicopters could be displayed in a dogfight visual right out of an 80's wet dream! 😂🤣😂

I have this kit,it was realesed in Romania a few years ago.
Mine it s almost finished,i need to cover the screw holes with kit and then to applay the paint

Russian cockpits are painted turquoise because they believe that it has a calming effect on the pilot helping them concentrate on what they are supposed to be doing.
