Even with the various modes, in my state this unfortunately still surpasses what can be called a "moped" and will require all the special license, registration, and insurance of a motorcycle 😢 Looks like a great ride though!
@@full_chargeWhat they said is only true with the smallest battery option. The 2 larger batteries you should get 35ish going 70 most of the way, maybe 40 with the largest. Depends how much of your commute is doing a constant 70. constant 55 it could def reach your work then you could charge it there.
Ebikes are not for beginners an accident at 15mph could potentially be fatal i love the idea and design of this but whoever thought it was smart to have a mode from 28- 70 how many beginners do yall think gonna immediately kick to 4th mode and kill themselves or someone else
You need a motorcycle endorsement as this is still a motorcycle, the cops arent going to give a s if its in evike power mode. Buy at your own risk, but it looks cool
O ya, 1 more thing... And I'm 100% sure that you can do this, ADD AN ALTERNATOR..! WHEN the BATTERY CHARGES ITSELF as you're RIDING Around. Then it will be in a class all by itself..! So your job should you decide to accept it: Is to create a SELF-CHARGING E-BIKE... 😊 ..! Axel

Soon ebikes will have to carry insurance and tagged. Maybe they won’t make everyone have a license also but I doubt it. The reason being ebikes should have a better rating system. Keep the 123 and add 40-50 class 4, class 5 50-60 and so on. In other words if you choose to have a ebike with the capacity of doing 70, YOUR bike should not be labeled class 3, but a class 5. That way your tags, insurance and license will be on you and I shouldn’t be punished for my class 3
It reminds me of sondors. And they sell on the Preowned market for 3-4k and they are 5 new. It will only be successful with a lower pricepoint. Otherwise, (although its nice) its too expensive especially with a flooded e moto Market. Thia is priced the same or more then bmw ce02 and its a new brand. And there are tons of ebikes that go just as fast for half the price.
Some very valid points on EMCs/Electric MotorCycles and the other parts you stated. If you know how to build your own E-Bicycle or EMC, you can do well to have more power for cheaper and actually build oneself a FUN machine as long as the battery is correctly assembled not lighting your house or building on fire.
Cool! Wait, what about security??? So it is street legal and I can gwt it insured? I could see myself getting a very expensive ticket by SCPD, then have it stolen by a junkie in Santa Cruz.
It’s a cool bike. I was wondering if the police will believe you if you explain that it's in the slow mode or if there is a clear way to prove it. For states or countries with different bike path speed laws can it be custom-tuned to fit the local laws. Here in Queensland we have some of the best laws for e-bikes and scooters in Australia but this would be technically illegal because the elec motor is too powerful. I assume it could only be registered as a moped or motorbike.
They classify this as a Motorcycle but yeah it's in the grey area for sure, will be interesting to see how the laws and regulations will change as these types of products get more popular
Anything to generate more revenue huh boot licker? Why would you assume that a license would already be necessary? Does the Constitution not afford is the right to travel? Or has a license become necessary only because the government steals your freedom and sells it back to you?
This is really blurring the line between a motorcycle and bicycle. Personally I would like to ride my motorcycle on a bicycle trail because I would feel a lot safer. Many of these rural bicycle trails that are used for snowmobile trails in the winter, in my opinion should be opened to motorcycles, at a very low mph limit. But I feel that I should be able to enjoy these quiet and safe trails too. Especially when something like this is considered legal. Or is its legality questionable?
Something like this does not belong on a bike path! What makes you think people will ride them slow, it will not happen! I’m passed all the time by e-bikes going as fast as they can on the bike path, throttling and never giving me a heads up that they are passing me. A moto will be even worse on a bike path.
Most bike paths are rated to 20 mph which this is small enough and can go that slow but like the comment below, have to trust people to go that slow :). it's hard when you have a ton of power at your disposal
It's alot of money to have one of them they are against the law it would have to register I'd rather keep mine £90 0 45mph wivh to me is fast enough. 30mph is a good speed to get from a to b. It's a nice bike
that power tap being $700 is ridiculous haha. all they have to do is get a company to make an inverter with a plug that matches their battery and make a shell for the inverter to make it look like it fits the bike and they could sell it for under $200. the law 100% sees this as a motorcycle no matter how much you limit the output below its rated max horsepower output. these guys got lucky someone just dumped another 3 million into their company to help them out.
@ElectricRevolution I mean with each level. I understand 120 miles for level 1. Moped mode/level is what 70-80 miles? I saw the range was 40-120 miles. I'm guessing at level 4 the range is 40.
No, you can not use this as an e-bike anywhere . Claiming you can if you lower power output is false . Classification for e-bike is (working pedals!) not (capable) of above 750watts. No one should ever!! Ride this in a bike path . . Be careful . This video shows someone riding on the sidewalk . The police will ticket someone for sure then the rider will point out this video . …. Never on a side walk, never on a bike path . All the videos you see in TH-cam riding surrons and similiar to this are doing so at there own risk as these are strictly illegal (everywhere) to ride as an e-bike which requires (pedals) to get e-bike classification !!

We talked about range, I've also got a link in the bio over the Land, there you can see the ranges depending on battery size
So I can ride this as an ebike without a license in LA?
I think you'd have to get it licensed even on ebike mode, I'd double check with the company or the DMV
Even with the various modes, in my state this unfortunately still surpasses what can be called a "moped" and will require all the special license, registration, and insurance of a motorcycle 😢
Looks like a great ride though!
I love it. 70mph? I could use this to commute to work since I live in Reno but work in Carson City 40 miles away.
range is about 7 miles at 70mph
@@MantisUmbrella oooooohhh no. That changes everything
@@full_chargeWhat they said is only true with the smallest battery option. The 2 larger batteries you should get 35ish going 70 most of the way, maybe 40 with the largest. Depends how much of your commute is doing a constant 70. constant 55 it could def reach your work then you could charge it there.
It's more like motorcycle not a moped or ebike
The frame is simple to build and I'm sure someone would build same battery
👍👍
Peace be with you! WoW😯
So, it's a nerfed electric motorcycle?
O ya, 1 more thing...
And I'm 100% sure that you can do this,
ADD AN ALTERNATOR..!
WHEN the BATTERY CHARGES ITSELF as you're RIDING Around.
Then it will be in a class all by itself..!
So your job should you decide to accept it:
Is to create a SELF-CHARGING E-BIKE... 😊 ..!
Axel
Don’t be fooled if you aren’t used to it 28mph can jack you up, also don’t let the term e-bike fool you if there aren’t any pedals the 👮♂️ 👮 are gonna give you a hard time, and possibly confiscate your investment 🏍️.
They say this is a Motorcycle, they give you everything to register it as one as well, I should have been more clear on the ebike modes
Id like to see color lcd
Smoking the tires, very mature.
Dang right
does it have a regen braking as well?
No
0:11 hey guys, I’m Brother from Ohio do you know if these are coming to Salt Lake City Utah?
You can order them, they arrive fully assembled
Soon ebikes will have to carry insurance and tagged. Maybe they won’t make everyone have a license also but I doubt it. The reason being ebikes should have a better rating system. Keep the 123 and add 40-50 class 4, class 5 50-60 and so on. In other words if you choose to have a ebike with the capacity of doing 70, YOUR bike should not be labeled class 3, but a class 5. That way your tags, insurance and license will be on you and I shouldn’t be punished for my class 3
1 question…Can this motorcycle be registered? If NOT No thankx 🤔
Yes, it comes with everything you need to register it
I call bikes in this size “ ultralights”
It has a key just like a motorcycle and yes it's street legal and has everything you need to register
What's the price
Around $7,000, I've got the link in the description and a code to save ya $200
Doesn’t matter on ride mode. Motor is above federal laws of 750w at 28mph. Bikers and walkers in bike paths would kick you straight off
I personally wouldn't use this on a bike path
Looks cool but it seems more like a really slow motorcycle that's also expensive
Clearly states it's an emoto with an "ebike" mode
Can’t carry a passenger is a big down fall
Range?
Website says over 100 miles if you ride it on it's slowest speed mode
It’s a cool bike. I was wondering if the police will believe you if you explain that it's in the slow mode or if there is a clear way to prove it. For states or countries with different bike path speed laws can it be custom-tuned to fit the local laws. Here in Queensland we have some of the best laws for e-bikes and scooters in Australia but this would be technically illegal because the elec motor is too powerful. I assume it could only be registered as a moped or motorbike.
You'd need to register as a motorcycle from what I understand
@@ElectricRevolution but then you can't ride it on the bike paths and a lot of the function of the bikes modes would be redundant.
i personally think this is pushing the term ebike a little too much
Just a little? Me thinks that's a huge understatement. This is no bicycle. This is a motorcycle. It doesn't belong on any bicycle path.
They classify this as a Motorcycle but yeah it's in the grey area for sure, will be interesting to see how the laws and regulations will change as these types of products get more popular
If I could afford it I would have half a dozen Ebikes.
Add Pedals and I want 2B your 1st $ale..!
BEING COMPLETELY SERIOUS.
So now you're going to need a motorcycle license and insurance and registration with DMV
Same thoughts.
Or don't be a pussy I have a 8kw ebike that can do wheelies at 40 to 60mph and no I don't have any of that shit
Yeah, they'll send you everything you need to register it, VIN etc
Anything to generate more revenue huh boot licker? Why would you assume that a license would already be necessary? Does the Constitution not afford is the right to travel? Or has a license become necessary only because the government steals your freedom and sells it back to you?
Yeaaa....
Requires plates I see 😮
It does
This is really blurring the line between a motorcycle and bicycle.
The lines are blurred and may be for the foreseeable future.
Most bike paths are rated to 20 mph which this is small enough and can go that slow but like the comment below, have to trust people to go that slow :). it's hard when you have a ton of power at your disposal
Wow
It's alot of money to have one of them they are against the law it would have to register
I'd rather keep mine £90 0 45mph wivh to me is fast enough. 30mph is a good speed to get from a to b. It's a nice bike
You would need to register it to make it legal, we talked about that in the review
Why don’t they talk about the Range factors?😢
Range will depend on battery size, the biggest size on ebike mode will get ya 110 miles
Needs passenger support then it would be perfect
Agreed
that power tap being $700 is ridiculous haha. all they have to do is get a company to make an inverter with a plug that matches their battery and make a shell for the inverter to make it look like it fits the bike and they could sell it for under $200. the law 100% sees this as a motorcycle no matter how much you limit the output below its rated max horsepower output. these guys got lucky someone just dumped another 3 million into their company to help them out.
To bad they don't say what's the range.
The largest battery size on ebike mode will get ya around 120 miles
@ElectricRevolution I mean with each level. I understand 120 miles for level 1. Moped mode/level is what 70-80 miles? I saw the range was 40-120 miles. I'm guessing at level 4 the range is 40.
Over price
7 grand; no thanks!
Lmao you must be trolling. 7k is a great price for this. Other comparable electric motorcycles are 10k and up.
Great investment!
I dig the bikes, but he display screen looks like it could be a little more high tech. Even e-bicycles have color lcd displays
Too much money for too new technology that has not been proven.
7 grand for a bike with a battery is next leval stupid. If you dont buy somthing for 7 grand. It will eventualy sell for the real price.
it's pretty ugly .... i would take that wheels and motor and make another custom bike ..... something i would like cause it's ugly
In NO WAY can this be Referred to as an E-bike.
--> ADD PEDALS 1st.
ONLY then aRe we Talking E-bike..!
I'd rather keep my gas powered motorcycle and my electric Enduro
Cash money says it tanks cause It's ugly as F. Has the old kit mini bike look
Someone is going to build a REAL e moto in their garage YOU WATCH! they're going to be an overnight billionaire
lol
I think it’s looks beautiful. Just maybe not your personal style.
I would love to hook up an #hbcruiser with all the "e" stuff, custom chopper type lowrider ⚡💪🏼😎🏁
Do it!
Great bike but the price is high. I like my scooter better man. I bought this scooter from Alibaba under 3,000 dollars. 72v 40ah, 8,000w motor and it weights 150 pounds.

@@RandomMotoThings still going strong against these new brand electric vehicles man. Try again man.
@@andreperry7995 that thing is small and fugly too. I don’t care what the top speed is, i 100% sure know that it’s not safe at top speed. The ergonomics are all off.
@@RandomMotoThings my scooter have 14inch tires on it. It weights more than a surron. I like the range more than the top speed.
