You are not forced to put "only" the final piece in your social media (maybe it will help you to keep and get back your subscribers). A finished artwork is a content but a content is a content. You love painting so if you just post what you are working on "each" day (the project unfinished volontary), ppl will see the evolution until the final result which could be a way to present your work. Of course, you may stay away from comments during this process to not be influenced by others which may affect the final result, despite that, i think you could still keep the same audience. Social media will help you improve your time, schedule and communication used this way. I think what's important is to see social media your own way (not one way, neither one general opinion way). Your audience go down because you see it this way. Like you said others came from "other" communication way and saw your quality in your piece of art (which improve by your time organisation), all this doesn't mean this quality of art can't be presented on social media. You need to appropriate your social media and not let others tell you how to use it.

I've been following your work since 2017/18 & yeah, I too wanna buy one of your paintings someday🤞❤
Video suggestion: Perhaps, a video on how to manage social media accounts would be interesting. I feel handling 1 account is already a headache lol

Awww, thank you so much for your kind words! That would be so wonderful! 😊 Oh yes, that's a great topic but it's not that complicated! For example I create one video reel with my video editing program (adobe premier) and then simply upload it to Instagram (which posts it automatically to Facebook) and then I upload the same video on Tiktok! So I don't need to make content for all the apps individually! :D

Lioba, you always inspire me and I often go back and watch your videos when I’m feeling uninspired for a boost. You offer so many good tips and you always provide lessons worth learning. You have really made me reevaluate my own work and how I approach it, as artists we are always learning and I have a ways to go but thanks to your advice I have seen a definite improvement in my work and am happy with the progress I’m making. So, thanks you! ❤️ this artwork is stunning, I love your use of colour and abstract elements, you always give it your all and if reflects in your work. Really well done 😊 I one day would love to own an original too but for now I shall happily collect my Patreon art surprises. ❤

I adore the you paint faces 🥰🥰 it's espacially disheartening when you get someone criticizing your artistic choices 😅 and to be fair it's espacially hard to get a helpful critic when you have a small account 💔 that's why I prefer to get critics in art classes or from artists on discord and such

Hi Lioba! Thanks for the video, it hae some great points! I am curious about what painting supplies you use, especially the colour pencils and the brushes. It always looks so clean!

How to paint like the greats" ?? Falls ja WO?
Ganz liebe Grüße, bin ein RIESEN FAN❤

Hallo liebe Nina! Danke für deine Nachricht! Also auf deine Frage: ja!

I stopped using word Critic. I use word Comment or Commentary. It is more neutral and indicates that it can be either personal or informative. Word Critic is very associated with attack or negative verbal communication.

I don't want to spend hours posing a character. I would rather just construct one from simple shapes and gestures.
These 3D apps legit take more effort or just as much to depending on what you're going for.
