Your ancient Egyptian inspired art was what first attracted me to your art, Lioba! It´s great that you dedicated a whole video about how it inspires you. Another fun fact about ancient Egyptian art is that it was not considered "art", but was merely informative. Artists were copying each other by using templates and accurate measurements to be as uniform as possible, the goal was not to be creative but simply portray daily life. That´s why no artist really stod out and also why the art style did not evolve for almost 3000 years.
Thank you so much for your kind words! And Yes!!! I read about it! 😍They didn't have any freedom and had to follow specific templates to draw a figure!😅
ancient egyptian art is actually really hard lol so many people think its easy. nope, it can be very restrictive if you stick really close to it. your paintings look wonderful, in the first one she is gorgeous
Great video. I love the longer length because it gives me more time to study your brush strokes and technique. Thanks. And Happy New Year to you and Alpay.
In general I love to look up mythology and ancient history for inspiration, but I think what makes Egyptian mythology stand out is their bright colors and stylized illustrations.
I really LOVE this series of yours. Inspires me to paint and draw in watercolor/ a mix of watercolor-coloured pencils. Also it really helps me to practice my listening in English. Lots of love and keep yourself healthy and safe 💛
Stunning art and techniques 😍 you inspired me to try something new, thank you!

You should definitely try the techniques of the Fayum portraits. They're still Egyptian, but about 400 yeats later, and were painted with wax
Wow! I didn't know!
I love the information provided along with the way you shoot your videos... Absolutely beautiful work
