  • In this 4x4 off road video we are rock crawling at Saw Pit Gully also known as Cathedral Steps. We have a Land Rover Discovery 1 300tdi and a Land Rover Discovery 2 TD5 attempting the climb. Both are twin locked and the TD5 Discovery is on 33 inch Nitto Trail Grapplers. The 300tdi Discovery is on 35 inch tyres with a ton of flex.
    We hope you enjoy watching and feel free to share, like and comment.

    Purple D1 looks too good to risk damage. Fair play doing what you do.

    Fair play that D1 is setup nicely with some nice flex, is cat still in it cos it hardly coughs a puff of smoke and being mechanical injection that's hard to get away from if you want abit more power from a TDI

    Could you please tell us more about the suspension setup that is set to purple disco?

    • @lror
      @lror  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It's running 2" 110 Defender flexy coils with 12" & 13" shocks. Custom 4 link setup in the rear and at the time of this video Super Flex radius arms up front.

      Did you sort the CV? And find out what caused or did you say "it's a Land Rover thing!" 😁
      I put my old D1 200tdi CV down to it covered 230,000 miles!

    • @lror
      @lror  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@R.Sole88109 Yeah sorted the cv but unsure what caused it. Maybe age/mileage, maybe previous stress or crack but it was certainly strange to break when it did. #landroverlife 😂

    Any gearing or just stock ?

    • @lror
      @lror  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah diffs have been regeared. He's in the middle of doing transfer case reduction gears now and also go even lower in the diffs.
