As someone who can ride a unicycle it's *wheelie* hard, but you did really well! It took me almost a whole day to get where you are in this video. A few tips: it seems counterintuitive but the faster you go, the less likely you are to fall. The momentum keeps you from tipping sideways so easily and you won't have to correct direction as much. You can even get to a point where your arms just rest at your sides as you pedal along for as long as you want. As for going backwards and other tricks that's a different story and something I may never get around to myself.

No problem! I'm sure you would have figured it out on your own, it's just something I learned I thought I'd pass on.

Gonna try this method. Pedalling slowly is not working for me...

You did it really fast... Gonna try your method. A little impulse first and then a quicker pedalling.

We have a 20" which is just an inch or two too tall. It's for a growing kid, so we don't want to cut the seat post when she will be tall enough, soon enough. But, we need it to be proper height, now. Question: Can we just get a 16" seat post and use it on the 20" frame? Would that solve the height problem, or is the seat post height universal and wouldn't make a difference in that regard?

tina thompson you can use a 16 just make sure it’s the same Width as the 20

Did you ever get a new unicycle? That one's way too small for you. I saw an interesting video where a guy used walking sticks to learn.

@@MaxMaher the seat should be at or slightly below your belly button also you can tell by your legs but the main thing I found that works for me is going to the belly button with the seat wheel size should not matter a lot. I am on a 24 inch.

Seat looks too low tho. Thinking it should be around it just below the hips. Just sayin but ...

I learned in one day and could ride half a mile without falling by the end of the first day. It’s not tough.
