Galaxy S7 / S7 Edge: How to Hard Reset & Soft Reset- Factory Reset | Forgot Password?

Note if this does not work you can try PassFab Android Unlocker (bit.ly/3iuvbTw) , Unlock Android Pattern, PIN, Fingerprint, password. Very easy and fast!
If you forgot your password (PIN, Swipe code) or your Fingerprint is not working and you forgot your back up pin code or if you are selling your phone, or you need a fresh start then you can do a factory reset.
This will delete all your data, settings, photos, videos, music, etc. So if you want to keep anything make sure you back it up before you begin your factory reset. Note that this will not delete or erase anything on your SD card.

I’ve come to a point where I’m going to just starting going to TH-cam for stuff and not even waste my time. I tried getting in an old phone for 2 days to set it because I want to put it through an echo atm to get money for the phone. 2 days no luck. On another note, if you don’t know the pin the phone will ask you to put the pin in for rebooting. You can simply reboot the phone and use the instructions to go into recovery mood as suggested in the video!

Life saver!! I am from the UK and they was going to charge me £30 just to wipes my phone at the samsung store.. patiently waiting.... btw factory reset only came up when i put my phone on charge i thought lemmi try it now then hold down the 3 button and it worked it refused from putting me in the factory reset

This will sound silly but there is an option to factory reset just the settings, now if I do that nothing else like apps, pics, videos, music etc will be lost will it? only reason I want to to factory reset on settings is to see if game mode will appear on there as it no longer does for me.

Yavar Durrani Factory reset deletes everything and returns to the state when it arrived new.
