Interviewers would typically be desperate to get something out of a player to talk about. Daniil gives them so many threads to work with plus, his own flavor of humor, you can almost see the interviewers' eyes light up as he's talking hahaha.
It always surprises me how Russian tennis players are always among the best in front of the camera - open, positive, funny, original... This is definately not the case for Russians in any other sports! Oh, I'm Russian myself, so I know😅 Now that I think about it - it may be the general rule for Russians who spend most their time abroad studying, training and living the life... So probably the country is really screwed up😢
