My orchestra is playing this for our winter concert and I’m so in love with this song! I literally learned both first and second violin parts because I just loved them both
Played this for our winter concert during my first year of highschool. Practically considered my last 9th grade concert since Covid-19 caused our spring concert to be cancelled. We all worked so hard for it, but looking back, we had a great concert for winter. This piece will always hold a special place in my heart.
We had a region orchestra in 7th grade that Soon Hee Newbold (the composer) actually came to and conducted us, it was amazing! I got her signature!😍 unfortunately we didn't get to play this piece, but we did play Elementa and Pirates! (or somothing like that I forget the name), also by her.
In my seventh grade year, my school orchestra played this song at NAU, and we got Superior with Distinction. I have gained so many memories from learning this beautiful piece of music, and I hope everyone else learning or have already learned this piece will too.
There’s something about this piece that’s just so…random. I can’t explain it. We played this in high school orchestra and everyone was obsessed with it. I remember it being fun to play. It’s not super technical, just showy. Sometime that’s a good thing though.
Played this for an honors orchestra in 7th grade. Middle schoolers with a few days to learn together made it a fine performance, but this recording does the music justice.

My orchestra played this at UIL yesterday and we got all 1's!
