Imperial Camel Rider VS All kind of Cavalry | Age of Empires 2

- Let's take a ride on the Imperial Heavy Camel Rier of the Hindustanis and test it against the cavalry units of age of empires. Of course only against horsemen, no other camels or elephants etc. Units like Boyars from Slavs, Ctaphracts from Byzantines, Pladins from Franks as well as Teutons, Crusader knights, Konniks from Bulgarinas, Leciai from Lithuanians, Monaspa from Georgians and many more.
What are you thoughts on them?

Seems that the Cataphract's bonus damage ignore is very effective.
Afterall, it is +18 vs Cavalry.

The bonus deletes 16 bonus attack. The camel having 18, he only deals 2 extra damages.
But price is too different
@@purevsurenpuje9283 In larger scale Catas will do better, because of Logistica. At some point they will outperform ImpCamels even in cost eficiency. Bigger problem is production - ImpCamels are from stables.
Catapharct wins whitout bloodlines nor the last atk upgrade, but boyars lose despite having insane armor. That shows how broken catapharcts are
Catas lose to anything that will brute force them, including Boyars... the one thing that allows them to win vs camels is that they have +16 resistance to bonus damage, so the camel rider only deals +2 bonus damage (normally +18).

I would really like to see the imperial camel against the Sicilian cavalier. I think that it's a close match up.

it really teases me that imperial camel loses against the cataphract especially when you notice how fast the imperial camel hits compared to the cataphract speed
Now keep in mind that this Cata didn't even deal trample dmg. 😅

@@DemonAgeOfEmpires2-wf8lv @DemonAgeOfEmpires2-wf8lv how come despite the attack animation of imperial camel really appears to be super fast than the byzanitne cataphract if you gave attention to animations that is way i did not give attenion to the written numbers of the speed rate Iam so sorry my mistake but it was too stupid anyway to make the imperial camel appear more fast despite the given number of attack speed in the game
@@noanjad you did no mistake, the camel's animation seems much faster indeed. But I have noticed, when searched the game files, that animation is not always working the at the same speed with damage. A perfect example is the halberdier. From animation alone you can't figure when damage is applied.
@@DemonAgeOfEmpires2-wf8lv yeah it was one of the biggest WTF moments in the game when you are shoked when pikeman hits his target multiple times but you feel like the attack has no impact until some few hits so funny

savar despite the full armor upgrade loses and takes only half of it's competitor's health, i think imperial camel is broken cavalry unit don't you think?!
I think it's because they have anticavalry bonus. Savar it's super strong already, there are other ways to take down the Imp camels, imo..

Imperial Camel vs Gurjara Camel?
Why it looks like the first attack of each cavarly is distrupted by the camel attack. Their animation looks like it stops half-way.
Hmmm Magyar Hussar should do 11 damage per hit.
It looks like he hits 3 or 4 times, yet the camel looses only 22 hp.

Something is absolutely wrong with the attack of the non-camel units! First attack is always stopped! Rigged.

@@prasetyoardi7912correct, it is hidden stats, they don't show in game in any way. I don't know if there are any mods you can use to see them.
Imperial Camel gets +18 bonus damage vs cavalry. Hence why they destroy everything in this video except Cataphracts (who have +16 anti-bonus armor) and Imperial Centurion (who is just Cataphract with a reskin).
Nice, but would have been better off expanded stats, like attack speed was also on screen. And too bad that you didn't include elephants and flaming camel, they are also cavalry 😂

I still think Cata's anti armor should be by percentage instead of fixed damage (33/40% damage reduction for normal and 50/66% for Elite Catas).

@@DemonAgeOfEmpires2-wf8lv it would be the same for a few units (pikemen and halbs). But right now, catas negate most of all bonus damage from heavy camels and pikes, and all bonus damage from camels, Genoese crossbow, kamayuks, mamelukes, Viking Chieftains bonus, samurai ( or not. I can't remember if cata only has cavalry class armor), and other small bonuses.

@@DemonAgeOfEmpires2-wf8lv I already know how they work against the different heavy cavalry units. Catas are anti infantry and trash, and can keep fighting against heavy cav if they are supported by monks (healing rate +100%), not mentioning Byzantines have cheaper heavy camels and halbs.
Byzantines' playstyle is all about a good use of their anti-units and monks

Very strong cavalry (almost Paladin like stats) in the right hands. Plus extra gold generated while fighting :)

@vardyjamie-kz6bn it's not a roman centurion, it's an imperial centurion which is basically a reskined cataphract.
