I agree with you on the vocals being the right amount of amazing. Actually, the whole song is. One thing Bonobo hasn't changed is the quality of his music. He only produces great tunes. As for his style, I wouldn't say he's changed so much as he's evolved. His new stuff fits right in with his older work, in my humble opinion. I think you can always hear him in every one of his songs, no matter how different they sound, individually. Really, he has been at it for a few decades, now. I can only imagine all that experience has not only advanced his original abilities as talented producer, but gifted him many new ones, as well. He probably has so many different tools and materials (so to speak) with which he can construct his amazing tracks, that a wide variety amongst his completed projects is practically unavoidable. Plus, I doubt he would want to stay exactly the same, forever (or that we would want him to, for that matter). Then he'd be just another ATB, or Paul Oakenfold. You know, interesting at first. Then, quickly, boring AF... Anyway, I've probably gone on about this for too long. Please forgive me if I sound like I'm just trying to say you're wrong. I know that's not the case because you were simply stating your opinion. I only wanted to state my slightly different view... Which probably wasn't necessary, but I just couldn't help myself. The little images popping up in the right moment, making it look like a Sound wave.
