Trivia: The very first thing I do when I arrive at this airport every time I visit Hokkaido is to eat ramen at Hokkaido Ramen Dojo! Hokkaido is the place to be for ramen lovers and eating ramen at this place is one of the easiest ways to try various taste from famous ramen shops in Hokkaido! It's worth visiting and I highly recommend it! 😄

I like the idea of transport hubs also having large malls in it. I feel like it's just the right thing to do. Imagine the revenue from this malls being able to benefit the authority maintaining it by giving them more fund for maintainance and renovations. It's rare here in southeast asia to have a huge mall within an airport. Most of the time they were just small boutiques that dot some parts of the airport
When everything goes back to normal and people can freely travel again, please visit Hokkaido if you get a chance. It will be quite likely that you will land at this airport! Anyway thank you so much for watching! 😄
The last time I visited was in April 2019, Hokkaido is a top destination for many Singaporeans like me!
Let me guess why many Singaporeans like Hokkaido... Hmmm... Is it because of snow??? Actually I have a very close Singaporean friend and his mother often says she wants to see snow in Hokkaido. 😄
@@VSV_Japan yes because Singapore is always warm and humid, so snow is something we love to experience overseas.
Also any Japanese product with the word "Hokkaido" just feels more premium. Like Hokkaido Letao Cheesecake, Hokkaido Milk and Hokkaido Yubari Melon.

@@VSV_Japan Yes, it was twice, with family. The last visit on 2019 was starting from Hakodate, all the way thru 登別，Sapporo, Hokkaido University, Otaru (train museum), 美瑛, Hoshinso resorts and up to the Takinoue Park which really so far away.😀

There's an onsen inside this airport where we can rest for the night too, as an option to staying at the airport hotel. I tried it last time when I was too late for my flight and wanted an alternative to the usual hotel stays, and I had a great time 😊.

It looks like a fun way to spend all my left over Yen before leaving the country. Next Winter I´m going to Japan, through Osaka airport. Osaka and Tokyo are a given, but I really want to visit Hokkaido and leave from New Chitose airport.

I always stop by at Hokkaido Ramen Dojo on the 3rd floor at 19:51. Hokkaido is a mecca of ramen and all of them taste good! 😄

I live in miami florida usa... & wondered why don't we have a shopping mall at the airport here? I know most airports have stores but a mall would be such an investment here.

Thank you so much for the request. Fujisawa is on my list already and maybe I'll go there in fall. However Shichirigahama HS is pretty far and I may not be able to walk from Fujisawa. So probably you are asking to shoot a video in the Enoden train. Actually I tried last year. But I'm sorry I was told to stop shooting the video inside the train by the driver. There are many Enoden videos on TH-cam and I thought it was OK but I guess the company changed the policy. By the way New Chitose Airport is not new anymore. It’s opened in 1988, which is 33 years ago.
Yeah there are so many "New something" like Shin Yokohama, Shin Kobe, Shin Osaka etc. Shin means new but none of them are new anymore... 😄😄😄
@@VSV_Japan For those places with “shin” in the name, at least I can understand: They are all stations for the SHINkansen bullet train 🚅 In this sense the “shin” name sounds appropriate 😅
