I played a Sterling JP60 last winter “just for fun” at guitar center and couldn’t stop thinking about it. Ended up on sale for $450 in the spring and I pulled the trigger on it. Incredible guitars for their price point in my opinion.
I agree with Sterling upping their quality. I played a sterling majesty and it felt and sounded absolutely awful several years ago. But I took a flyer last year on the Jared Dines sig and outside of the fretends being a little sharp it plays great.
I've been back and forth for 2 weeks between a Ibanez QX headless, ESP multiscale and many others. I kept coming back to that purple and always wanted a JP6 so after I watched this video which was the birth of metal for me(ATR) It went straight into my cart. Thanks man!
Ernie Ball has become one of my dream guitars along side a custom 24 by PRS. So awesome but I’ve never played a Sterling by MM so this may be something to check out. Awesome playing as always Andrew!
How do the 6 and 7 Sterling Richardson signatures hold tuning stability? Honestly I'd love to get the 7 string model for the appearance, push/pull, and tremolo alone but Idk about getting one over an AMAROK 7, since the AMAROK has locking tuners. How has your JR Sterling 7 held up in staying in tune, Andrew?
For a sec there i was like "why is he playing all that remains and not jason's songs" then i realized 1. He probably cant play jason's music and 2. He toured with all that remains recently Edit: he just straight said that😂
I tried out a Sterling Valentine not long ago...and bought it. That roasted maple neck is no joke. Didn't take much brand research to lock in on this model. Most certainly my next purchase asap. I wonder if they'll ever release a hardtail version? Red or purple...purple 🟣

Got it used for 500$ perfect condition dont know much about the artist its made for but i really love playing it sounds awesome

How are the necks on these? I’m thinking of ordering one from Zzounds but unfortunately can’t get my hands on one to tryout near me.
How is the tremolo on the sterlings? I have heard mixed reviews and didn’t know if they were as good as the Ernie ball’s.
