    220000 kms on my 2014 I.6 . Issues. Electric handbrake was repaired twice, break in Electric cable both times. Black patches appeared on top dash screen. Everything else wear and tear. Nice to drive bulletproof engine, economical, quite on the motorway, looks good, Value for money.. Buy a manual.

    Have done 300k km on ehdi. Most issues related to wear and tear. Alternator replace at 180k. Injector 150k. Actuator 220k. Best to replace diesel filter every 20k. DPF cleaner every tank. Accumulator disable at 100k. . Currently into my 4th set of clutch. Suggest getting the bluehdi EAT6 version for less headache.

    I have a an earlier model on a 09 plate, 162000 miles. Worth nothing on part exchange even with the extensive history, but comfortable, cheap to run and reliable. Have they cured the design fault that plagued the earlier model? Where the sills are on a normal car, they are a rust trap. Unfortunately, they aren't sills, and it's a major job to cure, causing some to just scrap the car.

      Very good engines, yes. Just don't forget that after high miles, you will have to change the clutch in the automatic model as the ECU doesn't change correctly like a human does, causing the clutch to wear out faster. Oh and the timing belt. Otherwise, very good car and engine!

    I own grand Picasso with a 1.2 puretech engine. I’ve already had the wet belt changed, Turbo and problems with the handbrake and air conditioning. I would never have brought a Citroen if it wasn’t for the wife. It was a good job I got it for a good price with very low miles.

    Couple of Questions.
    Q1- What's the 2 messages shown on top screen straight after you've pressed START button? Not clear to see in video.
    Q2- Are you pressing on bottom left steering wheel roller button at this point for some reason & if so is it in connection with Q1?
    Thanks for any replies as it's just something I've never noticed with mine & nothing in handbook.

      @@ShaksAutos Cheers. Had the dreaded Ad-Blu issues nearly 4 years ago but not been an issue since sorted.
      Now however I've got the P2683 Coolant Bypass Valve Control Circuit High error because the bypass valve in thermostat housing has kicked the bucket.
      Worst part is It's stuck closed which is just another sick little joke as it should never be able to do this & should only ever fail safe to open if it packs in. Closed of course blocks flow through radiator to get engine up to optimum efficient running temp sooner but then due to not opening causes gauge to hit half way mark even over just a 3 to 4 mile trip with cab heater on full pelt, usual optimum running temp is around a constant one 3rd on gauge. If fail safe was open only effect would be longer heat up with slight hit on fuel until up to steam but no risk of engine damage. As it is there's big risk of damage without having to keep stopping for things to cool off sufficiently to progress on any longer journey.
      Had Citroen for decades, but now name them Shitroen & be glad to get shut once this issue sorted.

    Had an older 2008 semi automatic 110k before scrapping. Problems with electric handbrake, flooding into the footwells, front suspension had to be replaced on both sides, fuse box had to be replaced, rear brake caliper wouldnt release and needed replacing. Had to scrap the car last month due to too much rust. Brilliant design and comfortable to drive, huge boot but sadly it was build by the French and not the Japanese so quality is very poor.

    • @killkiss_son
      @killkiss_son 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The problem is not who built it. Every car from the 2000s are bad quality and unreliable. The C4 Picasso were made cheaply because they were not expensive to buy in the first place.

      This is down to your mechanic. Its probably the valve cover. Mechanics will try and reuse your valve cover seals, often with a bit of sealant. The correct thing to do is replace the valve cover seal because rubber becomes hard and brittle over time, especially in a hot engine environment.
