I am highly confused about this video. The things that can go wrong can take a life, how do they continue to sale something so dangerous. These are not small issues.

2018 - 2.0 Multijet, 5 Jears with continuous Problems. The last 5 years I drove more time with the "check engine" warning on, than with it off. Every 1,5 years the car asks for a new battery (start-stop and headlight assistant stop working, settings in the menue get lost, air condition switches off by itself and many other issues come up). Checking the Battery in the garage, the tester says, that the battery is ok, but the car does not accept it anymore. Coupling rods had to be replaced 6 times already because they are made from cheap plastic (increadible for an offroad car). Meanwhile I invested over 9.400EUR for all kinds of repairs. Yes, I use the car offroad for hunting and other tasks, working outdoors. I bought this car, because I thought that it was made for this kind of use, but actually it is not. This car is the most unreliable and prone to failure, I had in over 40 years. The power train is totally subterrestrial, 170HP but there is absolutely no torque, it feels like a 55HP VW Jetta from the 80s. If you love car trouble, buy a Jeep Renegade 2.0 Multijet.

I have a Jaguar xf r sport 2015 for 3 years now ,i love this car its beautiful and fast ,never had any issues, if u change oil ,filters brake pads ,tyres etc in time, trust me the car will thank u😊

I had the turbo problem, have the timing chain problem, and now the gear knob is not rising... did you just change the gear selector or TCM/TCU?

Had mine 6 years, every MOT, i get a major service, apart from a battery and a set of wipers, its never missed a beat, had all the belts done 2 years ago, 91,000 miles on the clock, and i still get 48 to the gallon on a run, best car ive ever had, drives like its brand new, im a keeper, still turns heads, get one, you won’t be disappointed

Get injector seals checked, i had an issue where i could smell diesel and it was down to 2 injector seals

I've done well with Mokka's. They are good sellers. The chrome on the dash is the same on every one I have had. Just dont touch any Vauxhall with the 1.4 turbo engine. The 1.4 non turbo is fine.

I'm going to guess compression or multiple injectors as all the fuel lines have been marked 1-4 so someone has already been there and removed them and whatever they found was enough to get the car to an auction

6:28 it’s a diesel ⛽️ so I wouldn’t worry about the smoke at all that’s pretty normal in my opinion. But look forward to seeing you get the problem solved. As always bro keep up the good work. Excellent advice, I have done several of these jobs of Freelander 2s including front and rear diffs. Always get your car serviced properly or have it checked when you buy it and check the oils in everything, Engine, gearbox, front diff, rear haldex and diff and ensure the haldex has had a filter change.

Does staying on top of oil changes, generally mean timing chains should be OK?

Perfect all round performance diesel! Especially in 4WD!

I think as a trader you should really start buying basic cars like fords, Vauxhall, you get the idea, cheap replacement parts and quick flips. That’s just my opinion bro 👊

Just get the dpf cut out and car mapped. Better mpg, more power, no more ad blue to top up.
