You’re not kidding about ending up with multiple presses! About 11 years ago I started with an RCBS Rock Chucker and now I have 6 presses (2 progressive, 1 turret, and 3 single stage) and know EXACTLY what you mean about finding yourself with several “projects” going on at the same time!

Yes, I have so many TH-cam projects these days that when I expand into new shop space this winter I may have to have another press installed, we'll see.

My way is very close to your way. Thx for the video.
    I only do load-develoment in a single-stage-press - but when I have a load to-go-with I go to the ap press.
But I do it in 3 stages:
Stage 1 - punch out the primer, I do alot of brass with only primer-punchout.
    Stage 2: I do brass-reset/prime and in
    Stage 3 I do: flair/powder/powder-check/bullet-seat/Lee-factory-crimp

I do so many YT reloading projects at times that I usually have to stick with one press during the whole project as the other presses are jammed up with other projects. Now that I have more shop space I am looking at adding another press or two to ease the burden.

Replace that factory retaining spring with an rubber O-ring and add a 3d printed shell feeder, you will love it!

Haven't heard of the rubber O ring before. Factory spring works fine, I replace it every 5000 rounds or so. At some point would like to add a shell feeder.

@@wanneroo7106 th-cam.com/video/VpFwPl_ysww/w-d-xo.html It stops the powder from occasionally jumping out as the shell plate snaps into place.

@@wanneroo7106 th-cam.com/video/Ek9hZkoIc24/w-d-xo.html Here is the link for the auto-matic 3d printed case feeder. You can contact the gentleman in the video as he is the one who makes them. Tell him who referenced you to him! It works great and cost much less than one of those Hornady case feeder.

What was your overall length and crimp measurements

It's been 2 years since I did that video but as I recall traditionally I load 230g FMJ bullets to 1.25 inches and I use a medium crimp with the Lee Factory Crimp Die. I haven't done any 45 ACP for 2 years now, so this winter I should probably do a new 45 ACP project for the channel. Subscribe and stay tuned.

Lee Carbide factory crimp die is the best $20 you can spend on reloading.

As far as I can tell (had to watch at 1.75x), there's no setting up of the press. Basically ran some sized/primed brass through an already adjusted press, which is great, but hardly reflected in the title.

The video is specific to this video series(Part 2), it's not a general unboxing and setting up of the Hornady LnL. The focus here is specific to how I am setting it up for this project, just as soon with a 9mm project I will do a video on how I am setting it up for 9mm, what dies I am using, other nuances and considerations, etc.
