I have a tree that's actually a dead Rosebush in a vase and I've had it probably for 20 years now I got it The idea from The Martha Stewart magazine. She did shrunken appleheads and hung them from branches. But I have kept this tree up on my antique radio all these years. And I changed it out every holiday but it started out as my Halloween tree. I decorated for Valentine's Day. Easter St. Patrick's Day Christmas After Christmas, I changed it to winter We're just put snowflakes and white and silver decorations. I would show you a picture right now if I could but I can't post a picture. But right now, it's decorated for spring and summer With 2 strings of lights, one has just green leaves on it, and the other 1 is clear butterflies, and then it has some. A pick from Dollar Tree. That's some like grass looking stuff With blue butterflies on it.

I love vintage Halloween decor, it reminds me so much of my childhood. We don't really have any trick-or-treaters and my son is grown so any vintage Halloween decorations I put up in my home is basically for myself, because it reminds me so much of my little girl Halloween memories. I especially loved your box ornaments with the retro signs. A Halloween tree video would be great. I bought a pre-lit white tree last year because I was going for a retro feel with black, white, and orange. My family doesn’t get it and thinks a black tree would be better.
If it brings you joy, it’s perfect! If you did decide to change it up, you could use black spray paint to change it up for Halloween.
Hi, Brandy!! I'd love to see you do a Halloween tree!! I do a few Halloween trees in my home. I have a black tree I decorate, an orange tree I decorate and recently, a purple tinsel tree. They are all tabletop trees. I have in the past decorated an evergreen 5' tree for Halloween. It's so much fun!! I do all the holidays with that size tree. Its always in my dining room. Would love to see a Halloween tree as well! Don't they sell little Halloween trees at the Dollar Tree? They are pretty sparse though, kinda like their Christmas trees. What I did with the Christmas trees was put two together with zip ties to make it much duller and fluffier. 🌲 I love these vintage crafts! Weren't Tussie Mussies big in the Victorian Era? Also, I was wondering if you can use scrapbook paper for the cone if you don't have fabric? Anyhoo, gorgeous, nostalgic crafts, Brandy! 🎉🎃

I guess you could consider my Christmas tree a "Halloween tree". It's decorated entirely with Nightmare Before Christmas ornaments, tree skirt and topper. I have a 6 ft Jack Skellington that I hang an ornament on his hand and pose him to look like he's putting the ornaments on the tree. Oh, and I have a Tree-eating Snake around the bottom as well as Scary Teddy. I'm hoping to add a floating Zero this year as well as 3d bats flying out of the tree. We'll see if I actually get around to making the bats though. (It's been on my to-do list for a couple years now!🤪)

I've been a crafter since I was a child (I'm 53) and over the past few years I mostly have done wreaths here and there. Halloween is a favorite. Yes, I have a black tree, pre-lit with orange lights! It's a small one, about 4 feet tall. But yes, I decorate it every year. I have vintage glass ornaments (or reproductions) on the tree. I also brought some ornaments off eBay one year that look like the ones you are making! I have vintage ONLY! No new, plastic ornaments!! I love my tree! I would love to see you make more ornaments for a Halloween tree!
