This was great! Today in Canada, it is our Thanksgiving weekend... and this was a lovely break between making cranberry sauce and homemade sausagerolls while the turkey roasts. I sat down with a nice cup of tea and a Pumpkin Tart and thoroughly enjoyed this charming video. All the very Best from the west coast of CA.

We were in the area on Saturday. We went to the street fair, visited the Old Dutch Church, and ate at Horsefeathers. I let the owner know we learned about the place from you guys! And of course, the candlelight tour! 🕯🍂 I never liked spooky things and I am terribly afraid of spiders (even if they are cartoons) but you two make everything look so cosy, sweet and calming! I can imagine getting off the beaten path and losing the way, then spotting a beam of candle light and following it. Seeing a little cottage up the way and hearing the sound of old fashion Victrola music playing from inside. Walking ahead and peeking in a window to see a perfectly decorated 1920's cottage and getting ready to knock at the door for directions when a very mythical creature appears out of no where. This certainly can't be in the here and now. They look friendly, but probably best to move along and find our way back another way. It looks like we've found our way into the past. We can't stay. But what a magical Halloween they are having. Let's get to the road up ahead...there's a car. I wonder if we go back tomorrow night that the little house will still be there? But no, not likely. Still what a tale we can tell! It isn't often one comes across a sight like that one was. Cobweb cottage makes the perfect vintage setting for Halloween.

I absolutely LOVE everything about your cottage! If you can’t get your hands on cornstalks, try foraging for cattails! I live along a creek in WNY , about 6 hours from you, if the cattails aren’t gone to seed, when you cut them you can put them in large bouquets, or use as you would cornstalks , maybe on a little smaller scale 🧡🖤🎃❤️I like to bunch them together OR use together with Millet another great alternative to the cornstalks ! Good Luck !

Lindsay, your vintage jack o'lantern trick or treat bucket on your dresser is - at the very least - 45 years old. I had the exact same bucket since I was a toddler. You're lucky the handle survived, mine didn't but I kept it anyway due to sentimentality. I love your decor skills!
