for some unkown reason i have been almost completely unable to follow simple leaf tutorials. This one is so different and I am so happy that you made this!! they're so cute and simple i love them!!
I know a lot of people have said it but thank you so much for this tutorial! This leaf turned out better than the other tutorials out there. I can't wait to make your other designs. I just finished your ear warmer headband😃
I must admit that I have used this pattern now three times. At first it was to just learn, and then it was for some cup cozies. But now it was for a pumpkin. I am grateful for you. Thank you for giving me the gift that will be a smile for someone else. The gift that keeps on giving. ❤
I've tried 4 different tutorials before I found this one. Thank goodness!! You made it so easy and simple to follow. I now have the best leaves and vines for my gnomes thanks to you!
Thank you so much. I have been putting off learning to make leaves for so long. I thought they would be so delicate and hard but not at all. Thank you so much. I like your style of teaching because there isn't a lot of unnecessary talking.
These are the best looking little leaf shapes! They will be perfect for my little mushroom ppl! Thank you for your clear and well put together tutorial
Thank you for the tutorial! Love it! I didn't want some difficult leaves for my pumpkin (going to as a part of decor on my coffee table) so I chose your tutorial, but I crochet my leaf with a jute rope. I like the result :)
I love quick and mini things and right now I’m into leafs and mini baskets 🧺 I really enjoyed your video instructions were very easy to understand and follow thank you 😊
Thankyou Winding Road. I have used your patterns and tutorials before. Looking for a very easy leaf pattern and you nailed it for me. I still consider myself a newbie learning different stitches and patterns. Thank you so much for making this leaf pattern. I needed this tutorials like 3 days ago and it is Thursday today. Again, thank you from Sue in Iowa. I appreciate it so much.
The other one with 5 chains for me its so much harder to do for some reason. It doesn’t look how the tutorial is explaining but this one i find way more easier to do! Thank you for sharing and creating these tutorials really helpful for a beginner like me!!!!!
Hi, thank you for the lovely tutorial and the wonderful pattern. One thing though, in your blog you missed the 2 TR on the second half and the DC+TR are in the wrong order. Maybe change that, otherwise the leafs turn out lopsided 😅.
WOW ! I was looking for an easy to follow leaf pattern for my hanging crochet flower pot . Thank you so much for making it so easy to understand and to see exactly what chain your working in ! God bless you everyday ! Please make more videos because I love how easy you make your videos to understand and see what your doing step by step ! 👍❤🇱🇷
@@WindingRoadCrochet Oh congratulations! I know exactly how that goes not much free time on your hands so true . Oh just realized "not much time on your hands" funny 😂 Thank you and may God bless your little bundle of joy and whole family ! 🙏
Im new to crocheting and was wanting to know how i could make these leaves smaller and what would be the pattern? Also p.s i loved this tutorial it was so helpful ❤❤❤
You could also trade out the treble crochets for double crochets to make it less wide. It just depends what you are looking for to make it smaller. You can also pair a smaller hook with a thinner yarn to make it smaller.
first off, thank you for making it so easy to follow. great teaching skills.. but i have some questions. im trying to crochet a vine on a light cord. so i made ur leaf but leaf is connected to the vine from the pointy side not the from the stem. idk if i explained this right. what can I do?
You can use a larger hook for a larger leaf. I made them recently with a 4 mm hook. Any larger than that and you will need to use a different pattern like this one: How to CROCHET: Easy PUMPKIN LEAF, Quick Crochet Pattern by Winding Road Crochet th-cam.com/video/j1XjhONlN34/w-d-xo.html
The leaf is worked in a single row and the row is worked into the foundation chain. You should not be working anything into stitches. We are working into both sides of the foundation chain.

Awewome video. So easy to follow and so cute! Would you explain how to make a bigger version?
I will try!
Love these little leaves. How can I make bigger ones?
You can use a larger hook or you can check out the pumpkin leaf pattern on my channel. It has a similar shape but it larger.
Thanks for the ideas using these…I especially like the ear warmers ❤️✌️
You are welcome
hi i think the written pattern is missing a step for the leaf? it doesn’t state the 2TR on the second half 🩷🩷🩷🩷
Thanks I will look into it and fix it if necessary.
Que bonito trabajo!!! Gracias por compartir. 😘🇲🇽✨✨✨

is there a way i can make the spiral looser?
You can try working an increase every other stitch.

Hi! How can we make this leaf larger?
Use a larger hook and a thicker yarn.

You are welcome
Thank you! Great instructions and turned out so cute. ❤
So glad!
Hey i was seeking for a leaf pattern and i am making a vine of it with ch inbetween but i can find the written pattern on your website?
The pattern page includes 5 small patterns. The leaf is the very last pattern. www.windingroadcrochet.com/crochet-fall-decor-tiny-accents/
im very confused when u say same chain, idk if u are meaning the same stitch.
The leaf is worked in a single row and the row is worked into the foundation chain. You should not be working anything into stitches. We are working into both sides of the foundation chain.
I wanna make it bigger, what should i do?
You can use a larger hook. Try an H hook or 5 mm hook to get a larger leaf.
@@WindingRoadCrochetwould not suggest 5 mm. I did 5.5 mm and it was so infuriating. I ended up down sizing big time.
My leaves keep curling up
Try to crochet a little looser or wet the finished leaf and stretch it a little to block it and make it lay open.
Do you have a pattern?
