I just need to say this is by far the BEST tutorial for crocheting, not only does she do the entire piece but she also explains every single step in every stitch AND how to do the stitch. 10/10!
I have tried and tested more crochet leaf tutorials than I care to admit.. but this is by far the easiest to follow and create the best shaped leaf!! Thankyou for sharing this!
Early Alzheimer’s fan, I’ve done your video for 3 days. I’m slowly getting it! Great video. Your crochet looks magical! Love it, it is art not just a hobby.
I really appreciate you showing with the needle the correct stitch!! Crocheters often speed through it and show it with the chonky hook and the piece flops all around. Love the attention to detail!
You are a wonderful teacher! I barely know how to crochet, and I definitely don't know the terminology or how to read a pattern. But I'm able to follow this and understand it perfectly! You're really good at explaining as you work, it makes it really easy for me to follow along. ❤❤
i was so shocked by my own leaf at the end, ive watched a lot of leaf tutorials and they never come out like the video, this is by far the easiest tutorial to follow, thanks so much.
Hi Vicki. I just wanted to tell you how enormously helpful this video has been to me. I was watching to learn how to do the leaf. What ended up happening is now every time I have to change my type of stitch, I come back here. A few reasons why you are awesome: 1) you have working hands, and you did not try to sell me a "nail kit" in your video; 2) you go really nice and slow, and you use a yarn and hook that make following easy; 3) you have a very pleasant voice. Please please please don't stop making videos. I don't care about other peoples' videos anymore. I just want to see how YOU make a thing. I shared a bad experience with a bought pattern, and a couple of other TH-cam videos, on a separate social media site. It appears that a lot of people who crochet consider themselves proficient enough to share their knowledge. I really don't care if I get downvoted on TH-cam, because I am over having to BUY rubbish patterns and rubbish instructions. You have a gift. Please keep sharing. Thank you so much for making it easy, calm and friendly.
I recently started crocheting for the first time. I tried many tutorials of crochet leaves but yours is easiest to understand and I really like your voice it so calming and sweet. Thank you for sharing this amazing technique!
never in my entire life did i have such a nice, simle, quick and ABSOLUTE BEST crochet leaf ever!!! you didnt need tot ell me to subscribe, i was defenenitly going to. i love this, thank you ❤
Thank youuu I was making a flower bouquet and I needed some leaf fillers and I’ve watched at least seven tutorials and this was the best shape and the most easiest one to follow❤
Praise the Lord! You actually talk us through the steps! It is so 😢hard to follow the others that do not talk. So all I can say, is a Huge Huge THANK YOU 🎉❤ Please keep talking😂 Lol
Thank you so very much!!! I want to add little leaves at the bottom of a rose tapestry I crocheted for my grandmother but every pattern/video I came across just didn’t make sense to me. Thank you for helping me finish my project! Easiest explanation to follow 💗💗💗
It's safe to say I'm terrible at this but I sure enjoy trying and my leaves are starting to look less lumpy and more leafy each time I make one with your video for guidance.
I just started learning how to crochet about a year ago and have only been doing single crochet. This was a nice challenge and great way for me to learn some new skills. Great video! Thank you!
Thank you so much for your lovely simple leaf tutorial I am doing crochet lessons at the moment but I'm finding it so hard to read any sort of pattern I have managed to make my leaf after watching your video horray 😊🎉so thanks again x x x x 💖💖

😊I just finished a THANKSGIVING blanket with fall colors for my daughter, I told her I would TRY to crochet leaves to decorate it! You made it EASY! I JUST MADE one and I am preparing to make more! Thank you!🍂😁
@@offthehookforyou 😁You are very welcome! Have a blessed day! I made 8 leaves of different colors and added embroidery string for detail, now I have to arrange them and attatch them on the blanket. I have extra yarn that I began making a pillow cover to match the blanket, I was thinking of using some of the leaves for it. 🍂Thank you!
Been 3 years since you uploaded. I hope you are ok. I made two leaves from this tutorial to add to a flower 🌸 crochet to join an open short sweater. Amazing tutorial. Thank you

I love your video, but I’m not advanced enough. Working on it. I have early onset Alzheimer’s (48) I would love to find a beginners video that is super slow without all the crochet language. I can follow along but I need slow mo. If you would ever consider a slow slow video for people with acquired brain changes. Easy language and really slow steps. Anyway you’re awesome!💜
I have been trying to crochet for 3 years now and the only thing I can do is chain . Whenever I try do do any other Stich it looks like a blob of tied up yarn . I don’t know what I’m doing wrong .
Part 1: Chain 9
Single crochet in second hole
Half double crochet in next sitch
Next stitch double crochet
Next stitch two double crochets
Next stitch double crochet
