Glad I'm not the only one who had this issue. I used to be able to make it go away with putting pressure on the top right side of the screen. This phone has been the WORST Disappointment I have ever had to deal with. Just went back to HTC with the U 11, love it.
You just need to go through the colour screens and leave it on the colour screen that most highlights the line (thickest line or best contract) then very lightly press with you finger on the right hand side of the earpiece [half on the earpiece area and half on the frame]. Press very lightly though, with increasing pressure and it will go. DON'T PRESS HARD.
I think it is a typical issue with this model. There is something in the area that you press that is a fundamental problem with this device. If you follow this method it goes but occasionally comes back. But this is the best method I have found to keep it away for long time. Hope it helps

That one line remains however. I saw one video where they put a thin piece of plastic wedged between, what looked like a sensor, and it went away
maybe i am wrong, but has anyone tried simply unclipping the screen connector, looking to see if there is dust or anything on either connector, removing it and re clipping, i have done this with lines on iphones and it works.

Samsung will ask you to ship your phone free of charge for evrything.. well you need to contact thrm first ofcourse you need to tell the issue. Here is the link. I had the same issue.. I repaired it also. But it is coming again.. Whenever i take my phone to call.. It'll show purple lines with some kinda noice.. And gets stuck.. 😢😢😭

This trick won't work. It will reappear because there is a problem either on Display itself or the display flex cable. I have a note edge and the pink line appear after 9 months of usage but luckily it's under warranty so the service center replaced my display and panel free of cost.

Does not help that you cannot even see what you are pushing on. You are not showing the bottom of your phone.
You got to heat the phone a bit and press the top rite corner to glue it best.
