- Helloween Fans.....FEELIN' YOU!!! Tonight we're coming back to Helloween, with a live performance of a song entitled "I Want Out". FULL DISCLOSURE: I have heard this song before, I am very familiar with the studio recording of it. However this is a live performance. Therefore I will NOT be scoring, evaluating, reviewing, or reacting to the song itself in any way. I will ONLY be scoring, evaluating, reviewing, and reacting to the LIVE PERFORMANCE. I came across the six song live EP cassette of the same name as this song years ago and I love it. They still had the same energy and interaction with the crowd as seen here.
I burned it to 💿 a few years later and I still listen to it. It’s a good thing I did because you can’t find Helloween anywhere around where I live…only online.
One of these days I would love to get a vinyl copy or a proper 💿 copy. Until then, I’ll keep listening to the CD-R I have.
Awesome reaction and review. This song is actually not one of my favorite songs by Helloween but the live performance is really great thats part of why I chose it. Helloween has much heavier and more technical songs then this one but its a great way to end the show. I personally have seen Helloween live and ive never been part of a show with so much crowd interaction from start to finish, almost every song you get to be a part of during a live show. Overall I did enjoy and Thank You 🤘
They have so much popular songs - so "I want out" is just one of them. And could well be placed as the last song.

Well, since you've now seen this and the original video (yes it was goofy), you REALLY need to see a nearly 15 year old spoof video done by Tommy Johansson (with the band name "Granskogers", which included his brother-in-law Kim Arvidsson). It's clearly a fun time for them, and they follow the original video line to a "T", but with a Nordic setting. There are also some fun Easter eggs with their costumes, and it gives Tommy a chance to compare his pipes to Michael Kiske's. Pay special attention to the two amazing note sustains he gives us. Hi David, there's one more aspect to the crowd interaction here: that the singer is billingual. The show is at Wacken in Germany so most people are German speakers. But then there are surely a lot of international guests who speak English. So talking billingual is very beneficial here.

Tambien habla español, y cuando viene a la Argentina interactúa mucho con el publico y a veces se divierte porque sus compañeros no entienden el idioma y el sí, amo a Helloween desde que tenia 14 años hoy con mis 45 los sigo amando como el primer dia.
Michael, the one with the bald head, was 19 when the song was recorded and over 50 here and still hits the high notes. He never had any singing lessons either, he's just a natural talent
they have three vocalist , Kai Hansen on the red guitar is also a Helloween vocalist
