- Fasting is imperative to getting breakthrough in our spiritual journey! In this video, I talk about several points that I consider to be crucial when it comes to fasting effectively. Please make sure you watch the entire video as there is important info throughout.

You shouldn't go on a 5 day liquid fast; it's not healthy.
Guess What??!! I've been praying and asking God to teach me how to speak in tongues for days. November 4th I fasted, I was listening to gospel music and all of a sudden I started speaking in tongues for the first time!!!!!

Robbie Rice ...demons are not so stupid to show themselves to you. It is much easier to deceive when you are unseen. Probably they are sending you those thoughts of them showing themselves if you fast so you keep yourself away of fasting,while the truth is if you are really with Christ and you fast and pray they will be afraid of you. They are using fear to manipulate and you are perfect example.

I did fast for 3 days and in the third day at night got answer my prayer. I was asking to feel His presence, hear his voice to know his will in my life and have closer relationship with him. He gave me a shake manifestation in my hands trough adoration and praying and since then I feel his presence trough vibration in my hands. God bless you. I did a fast only of food and I drink very little of water.
I also got an answer on my 3rd day at night in the form of a postcard with the literal answer to my question. It was crazy and amazing.

I like that he talks about removing social media during the fast. That is powerful. Take away all distractions. Take away hobbies, all things that are not essential, and turn toward Him. He is not slack concerning His promises.
Fasting also is about sacrifice..we suffer when we fast and resist temptation thru denying the earthly element of ourselves..instead depending upon and strengthening the spiritual side. To fast and hunger and..suffer and resist temptation helps us align ourselves and identify with Jesus and his suffering in a spiritual sense which Is very powerful.

I don't drink tea...soft drinks..
Unhealthy foods...takeaways...
No Mac's or fast foods..
No smoke..no alcohol..so it's all in prep...actually ,it's something I need to do now , and you learn to love fasting.
If your new, just do a 1 day fast.
Then start by prepping...
Maybe no breakfast....then no breakfast and dinner...then 3 rd day just water...always drink water unless under the direct instruction s of the Lord.
Then only for maximum 3 days no water...but that's a very special fast what Paul done .

The Holy Spirit that dwells in me keeps saying fast fast fast everytime I ask for healing for my hemorrhoid. But I've been slacking. I would only skip breakfast and lunch. God also gave us the food and plants to help heal ourselves. A good and fast remedy for haemorrhoids is to take a garlic clove, prick it a few times, leave for a few minutes and then insert into that area using a lube such as coco oil... Garlic is a gift from God
Bible tell everyone, not to tell anyone when you are fasting, its to be kept a secret between yourself and God, and God says wash your face before going out to not let anyone see your fasting.

In the past I've done the Daniel fast for 21 days, eating no meat, the partial fast, no food, only water from 6am to 6pm, but I haven't gone without good for an extended period. I will try this form as I really am seeking to draw closer to God and enhance my spiritual walk.

Please pray for me, I really truly and deeply want to get into prayer and fasting and I desire that 'closet" that Jesus said to get into but because I live with other people who are not Christians it's hard. I've been crying out to God to please change my circumstances and my heart has been heavy over this issue for some time now. My situation is very limited, I cannot explain all but I'm just tired of living in lack for the past 5 yrs or so. I just so desire that place to call 'home' where Jesus is the Author and the Finisher of everything even down to the kind of music that is being played in that home. To be able to lift up prayer & praise without it being offensive to others and to get into my prayer closet without that disturbance from others. Please pray that the Lord God will supply my needs according to His riches in glory and grant the desires of my heart for His glory in Jesus name...thank you all.

Please pray for me that my fast is successful. I attempted a 24 hour fast last week. But didn't really see any of the break throughs that I sought after. This whole week it has been on my heart. I've been praying that the Lord reveal to me how long I should fast. And this video spoke to my spirit. I am seeking healing to my feet. As well as breaking the strong holds of laziness and gluttony. It all seems to be intertwined together as if my foot pain is accompanied with the strongholds. And the enemy's been extremely strategic with these to keep me in the yoke of his bondage. Pray that my family is understanding and encouraging to this fast so that I'm not apart of any home altercations when I retreat from certain activities to be with the Lord. Let my sacrifice be an encouragement to my husband who is in bondage as well and needs deliverance.

Everything he is saying is truth. I did fasting originally for detoxing benefits. Took me a few attempts to know how to properly prepare myself but by my 4th attempt (Preparing months apart from the previous attempt), I was able to Water Fast for 17 days. My body cleansed itself from toxin of course. But what I wasn't expecting or even looking for was my Spiritual Detoxification. The CLARITY, the understanding, that you truly have about yourself and the Reality around you is amazing. I realized things like why my country USA is so overweight, when at first I watched tv almost every commercial was a form of Physical Seduction through food and other senses (your sex drive) within the first 5 days, what I learned later was amazing. Please start slow, add things like Apple Cider Vinegar, and Journal as well as Read the Word. Whatever the word is for you, because as you clean and sacrifice your vessel to God, God in return will show you what you are now prepared to see.
I'm scared of fasting. I attempted once but only made it in a couple of hours. I wasn't in the right head space. Now, I've been wanting to do it again to break free out of my bad attitude. Thank you

Thank you. This was such a blessing to me. I always get charged from your talks. You did clarify one aspect of the benefits of fasting for me. And I now understand it is a gift from Father to me. When I began to fast regularly, I began to be able to feel their presence, "hear" their whispers, and distinguish where the evil spirits stood around me, and it frightened me. I prayed and fasted for God to reveal to me why. I was not to be in fear and He erased any fear they tried to place upon me. I could feel God's love envelope me and I was surrounded with peace and strength. Now I can cast down spirits. It's like being guarded by the most supreme guard ever, against an evil spirit. Its Amazing. Some spirits are so evil though that I feel their heat and darkness. Is that normal Phillip? I do self deliverance often and there are two severely evil ones who return, maybe just to let me know they are still watching me. I'm not sure.
I hope I'm correct in this belief. Sometimes I fear that I'm losing my marbles and have to cast those thoughts out too.

I did a 21 day fast. I did drink milk during it after awhile but no solid food. Day 2 and three were the hardest and mostly it was mental. I felt absolutely no hunger pains after day 3. I learned that the stomach is a liar. It doesn’t need as much as it says it does and the more you give it the more it wants. To me it is an exact parallel with how sin works. I never felt better physically while not eating! Sugar is especially hard on the knees. I will say, food is probably our number one joy in life, and it’s quite funny how the Bible always speaks about someone eating and becoming merry. I have started fasting every Wednesday and in the past week while praying in tongues I suddenly started speaking in a war like tongue I have never experienced before. I also asked the Lord for the gift of Prophecy to help build up our local church and he gave me the gift, Bless Him!!! Three times in the last week he has confirmed that I am his son and that I have his righteousness. It is heaven on earth! Fasting does not buy grace or any favor with God, but it gets the flesh out of the way so you can receive. God is so willing to give, it’s the devil telling you you are not worthy. I tell you that I struggled with the fact that I wasn’t sure God was hearing me, with the fact that I wasn’t living perfect enough to receive from Him. It’s all a lie of the devil! Fast, get alone, get honest (fears and all), praise him and thank him for all the great things he has done for you, get baptized in the spirit( if you haven’t) and you will receive! I want to fast again..sort of intimidated..my last fast got so intense..opened up some deep wounds..but praise God they did get healed..not during the fasy but after. I just feel inimidated to go deep in. Other fasts had been more pleasant and upbeat..Jesus knows what I need more than I do i just gotta trust Him

Please please pray for me and Hizel. She is stuck on phillipinea and gets depressed. I have a metal plate in my neck and im trying to stop taking a natural pain killer called kratom plant and im having anxiety. Its worse then pain. Please pray for her depression and for her to gey here without vaccination and PRAY against my anxiety. PLEASE and thank u.
If I fast anymore, I have to have three days with the body (like a retreat), and right now I am not getting the pure fellowship that I need and tapped out all the wells I have here. I need to get up and walk...walk away from sin and hindrances (people and situations) and follow Christ and not be entangled any more. Just fasting to get away from or be delivered from everything that is not of Christ, start a new life, leave the old behind, leave this town and serve God with all that I am with others like him, and rest that he can take care of my physical and spiritual needs and no longer be concerned with sin/temptations and pour myself out.
In the meantime it is the daily grace while trying to wait for the obstacles to move from me running toward my goal.

This video is informative, powerful and inspiring. Many years ago I completed a weeklong liquid fast by the grace of God, but since then whenever I attempted it hunger pangs would overcome me and I'd drink juice and find myself retching. I couldn't imagine this is what God meant by a fast and I would end the fast there. I've done partial fasts and Daniel fasts but had my doubts about how effective they were and couldn't find convincing info. I feel unvictorious in my Christian life and I'm inspired to try fasting again!
In the past when I fasted I did not have much break through because I needed to spend more time in the word. This video helps me learn how to do that.

Thank you brother for this video in relation to fasting. It is exactly as you say, the enemy has us very oppressed with so much processed food but not only that, but with the practice of gluttony (it was my case) ... that spirit oppressed me to the extreme but in 2017 it began to manifest itself more clearly until that in February 2020, the Lord showed me alternative fasting (eating only two meals a day) and that has detoxified my body and I have seen an increase in the quality of prayer and discernment that I receive from the FATHER.

If you work in the plants or refineries, let us keep being the torch of Christ in a field that desperately needs spiritual fathers. This made me desire to ask for prayers for my husband he is not a believer yet. I have been praying for a work friendships in the oilfield with someone who lives their life for the Lord. This gave me so much hope seeing that there are at least 2 men in that line of work sold out to God, it seems there is so much sin and darkness my husband comes in contact with out there! Our church has just gone through a 21day fast, during this fast my spiritual man definitely overtook my flesh man, it was absolutely awesome🙏👍. I pray n meditate🙏👍 every day on God's word and He gives me Revelation on His word, since fasting, the Revelations have been coming more frequently.🙏👍 I am also about to embark on a spiritual journey with God and it's heightened what the Holy Spirit is saying to me and that I am on the right path,🙏👍 amen n amen. Daniel fast is not a real fast? So how come Daniel did it and God answered him. Don't ever say that Daniel fast is not a real fast because you're wrong. Daniel fast may not be as strong as a no food fast but it's still powerful....

I've decided after watching this video because I have sooooo many areas that needs Gods touch on my life. I have a chronic dvt in my leg and bad arthritis in my neck shoulder and hands.Masterbation and a dysfunctional marriage for starters. I will discuss this with my wife that we could do it together, If not I will do it alone. I will update you how it goes. I trust `you Jesus with my body and my soul and mind! I do not want to die without you.

Brother, I have been just watching your videos for the last one month. Your teachings and spiritual activities are so great. Iam so much admirable and loveable in your simplicity . This video is so helpful and informative. I wanted to be a perfect child of god. I came to know that fasting is important in our spiritual life. Now in india we are in lock down. I think that this is the proper time for fasting. Iam wishing to fast for three days. Please pray for me.

BTW I was watching a video in my university this week about fasting and how it is used to treat patients with mental diseases ex (schizophrenia). Fasting is very healthy for us especially with all the horrible food in this world. It is a natural healing to our bodies!
