Jesus changed me so much that ALL that ever matters to me is Jesus, obeying Him, pleasing Him, and honoring Him. He made me so I couldn't be hurt or upset or scared or lonely or sad for myself (even in the midst of tremendous physical pain). It was all Jesus! I loved my family mote but I didn't NEED them anymore- if I never saw them again until heaven, it doesn't make me sad, I discovered that knowing Jesus was the true key to unending joy and contentment in all things at ALL times. Seek God with ALL your heart and you will indeed find Him and become brand new and radical

While on fast, on the 7th day, I walked into a farmers market with my wife and suddenly had the urge to break fast. When I sat down at a table with wife started to cry and pointed to a posting on the wall next to us. The menu listing breakfast items had the title "Break thy Fast." Everything I fasted for came to pass.

Thank you I have needed to hear that. Fasting keeps coming up as my solution. I have been doing battle with a demon I can't quite bind with prayer alone. I know God hears my prayers, but I am pretty weak from this on going battle. Doctors put me in a medically induced coma, to give my body a chance to build back up, and regain my strength. I woke back up and couldn't talk or move from the neck down,. They had me hooked up to a machine that was breathing for me, and my memory of what happened to me was gone. I could tell I was in an ICU unit, but didn't know why. Couldn't ask why. I still have some physical issues, but I have been praising God For every miracle milestone I have be being Blessed with. Satan was so mad... That he keep's me under attack. So... It seems fasting is next. Thanks for the video you posted. Satan is grasping at straw's, and I have a big Book Of matches. I call it my Bible. The milestones I was referring to are learning how to use all my muscles again. It took me 4 months of physical therapy to be able to stand and walk again. I had to learn it all , all over again. To sit up (without any help) was the hardest thing of all. Feed myself, bathe, dress, and go the bathroom alone just to name a fed. Buttoning my own cloths is still a tricky thing for me. I'm getting there though. Still having some weakness in my core. Have a good week end all!

I fasted for my mother and experienced sleep paralysis with ugly demon. Didn't connect the 2 for at least 10 years. Right after that fast, mom was a different person! For the better! Almost unbelievable how effective it was. Now about to do it again to find suitable housing for her and me (showing signs of dementia/I'm homeless).

Fasting long enough on only spring water is Def most powerful. My breakthrough only came when I kept fasting on water. As long as I ate even fruits, no breakthrough!

I tried this 21 nights w/o dinner...then in 16 nights without dinner, in the morning while i am in the garden, i saw in sky a huge eye,then i ask myself what is that, then tears in my eyes came out, and just came out my mouth,My God! My saviour!..then i took my camera and taken a picture.And in 17th night without dinner, in the morning i saw again eye in sky,it is more clear than yesterday...then until i finish til 21 nights without dinner...i realise that the eye of God is everywhere...thanks God that He show me this mysteries, that i never knew before....now when i am eating in the garden, first thing i do is, look in sky, and offer God to eat with me...

I find this very interesting - I am very new to Christianity but know it is all real from my own experiences now. Long story short I started fasting for health benefits while I was Vegan - not for religious purposes. Then one day I was paralyzed with an describable euphoria in my truck for 3 hours - pure love, peace, tranquility. It was simply amazing. After that moment my life changed - lost all fear, anxiety, hate, anger, regrets, everything bad was stripped of me. This is the first time I have heard the story of Daniel and his fasting with only vegetables..... which is the same route I took without knowing the amazing consequences of doing so.

This was a excellent message! I have completed three day fasts and I normally complete a 24 hour water fast every week. God recently instructed me to complete a 21 day Daniel fast. I won't be consuming any desirable food coming off of a three day water fast. I'm looking forward to the blessings and miracles of God!

I don't do the vegetable fast. When I fast I only allow one coffee in the morning. Maybe a piece of hard candy for dry mouth. Anywhere from 2 days to 7 days. Usually 4. If you pray fervently while doing this, you can feel the presence of God. Your prayers have power. Thank you Pastor Jentezen for teaching on this often neglected observance.

Fasting is giving up what takes your attention away from God the most. He clearly said he felt God's presence. Daniel gave up meat and bread, yet still ate vegetables. Jesus gave up food but not water. It's different for everyone, especially those just learning.
Gods child B you fast as led by the Holy Spirit. In fact, fasting with coffee and candy is way better than not fasting at all. Also it is much harder than eating vegetables. The most important thing is the result, you can tell if your fasting is effective or not. For me eating vegetables while fasting does not represent any sacrifices, it is so normal for me, but when l do water only or adding coffee , I see a great effects
..in the modern church we have reduced fellowship with God to feelings and intellect..no outward manifestation. This is a beautiful sermon... God gives us the strength for anything desirable that He wants us to stop doing. If you are willing to listen..He comes thru for you. I stopped fornication... and I feel no attraction to any man that way...I asked God to quiet my flesh and He did. It has been an amazing life, filled with peace...and if God wants me to have a man, He will bring him to me. I fast and pray and I am always content.

I’ve always had a double feeling with fasting, as if it were egotistical, which is why I never felt completely easy with doing it... however, observing my habits and my wishes of building a closer relationship with God, I see the importance of fasting and how the devil has been lying to me. It’s time!!!
The church has made a lot of spiritual disciplines very works-based. Like their "doing" this or that is what brings about the breakthrough when 100% credit should always be given to God. So yes, fasting _can be_ egotistical. You can even hear the ego in this teaching. And no, it doesn't mean that God cannot and will not bless pple through this sermon. Whatever level of faith one brings, He blesses! I am still learning about these things anyways. Still getting deliverance from a works mindset (we all are). One thing I will say I have had Revelation on is that the disciplines (prayer, fasting, etc.) help us so we have the correct mindset to receive the blessing/breakthrough when it comes. The fasting doesn't "cause" the breakthrough-God causes the breakthrough!! The fasting gets us to the mindset God needs us to be to receive the breakthrough (so we can handle it the way He wants us to). Another thing I have learned is that a discipline like fasting for e.g, compresses time-like pushes the fast-forward button. There's more but I'll leave it here for now.
I love this story that he’s telling about Moses! And I get what he’s saying, but it also just occurred to me that Moses is lifting his hands and lifting our hands is a posture of praise and surrender to God. The Bible is full of examples of praising through, our problems, praising God, even though the victory isn’t in sight. This is so encouraging to me, because I have been praising God, desperately seeking victory for going on three years now. I don’t know how many times I have wanted to just give up and quit the fight altogether, but something inside me keeps me driven, it gives me hope when in the natural, there is no hope, but something within me lets me see a hope on a spiritual level, and it encourages me to keep on going. Sometimes it’s a day at a time other times it’s a couple of days at da time And often times it’s one minute at a time, but I know that my God will see me through! His word promises to work all things together for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purpose. I thank God that I fit that bill.

I don't know exactly what it is about you, but your knowledge of the word and how you break down and capture all the stories and mysteries in the word is really far out and beyond any degree. You to me pastor Franklin sound like an end time prophet of God, for which pastor Franklin I am thoroughly grateful. I'm here in Abbeville, La., quite a ways from your church and congregation but I feel like I'm always drawn back to your messages. Many times when I'm going through something, I turn to your messages and there it is, exactly what I needed. I started a fast and warfare has kicked it up a notch lol my wife even thinks she's over me LMBO..... The devil is a liar! It's been really hard to overcome financial difficulty but I've always worked and tried to be the best I could without God but now that I'm his smh it's like she's strange!!! But I will center another fast around my wife and I'm encouraged that God will pull us through.

He does dry fasts but personally..I feel I need to drink. He does say that fasting is spiritual warfare..I recommend listening to him.

I fasted for my mother and experienced sleep paralysis with ugly demon. Didn't connect the 2 for at least 10 years. Right after that fast, mom was a different person! For the better! Almost unbelievable how effective it was. Now about to do it again to find suitable housing for her and me (showing signs of dementia/I'm homeless).

I tried this 21 nights w/o dinner...then in 16 nights without dinner, in the morning while i am in the garden, i saw in sky a huge eye,then i ask myself what is that, then tears in my eyes came out, and just came out my mouth,My God! My saviour!..then i took my camera and taken a picture.And in 17th night without dinner, in the morning i saw again eye in sky,it is more clear than yesterday...then until i finish til 21 nights without dinner...i realise that the eye of God is everywhere...thanks God that He show me this mysteries, that i never knew before....now when i am eating in the garden, first thing i do is, look in sky, and offer God to eat with me...

I find this very interesting - I am very new to Christianity but know it is all real from my own experiences now. Long story short I started fasting for health benefits while I was Vegan - not for religious purposes. Then one day I was paralyzed with an describable euphoria in my truck for 3 hours - pure love, peace, tranquility. It was simply amazing. After that moment my life changed - lost all fear, anxiety, hate, anger, regrets, everything bad was stripped of me. This is the first time I have heard the story of Daniel and his fasting with only vegetables..... which is the same route I took without knowing the amazing consequences of doing so.

This was a excellent message! I have completed three day fasts and I normally complete a 24 hour water fast every week. God recently instructed me to complete a 21 day Daniel fast. I won't be consuming any desirable food coming off of a three day water fast. I'm looking forward to the blessings and miracles of God!

I don't do the vegetable fast. When I fast I only allow one coffee in the morning. Maybe a piece of hard candy for dry mouth. Anywhere from 2 days to 7 days. Usually 4. If you pray fervently while doing this, you can feel the presence of God. Your prayers have power. Thank you Pastor Jentezen for teaching on this often neglected observance.

Fasting is giving up what takes your attention away from God the most. He clearly said he felt God's presence. Daniel gave up meat and bread, yet still ate vegetables. Jesus gave up food but not water. It's different for everyone, especially those just learning.
Gods child B you fast as led by the Holy Spirit. In fact, fasting with coffee and candy is way better than not fasting at all. Also it is much harder than eating vegetables. The most important thing is the result, you can tell if your fasting is effective or not. For me eating vegetables while fasting does not represent any sacrifices, it is so normal for me, but when l do water only or adding coffee , I see a great effects

This is a beautiful sermon... God gives us the strength for anything desirable that He wants us to stop doing. If you are willing to listen..He comes thru for you. I stopped fornication... and I feel no attraction to any man that way...I asked God to quiet my flesh and He did. It has been an amazing life, filled with peace...and if God wants me to have a man, He will bring him to me. I fast and pray and I am always content.
God is calling His church to humble and fast and pray because things are coming our way, but we must be strenghtened by Word to withstand. Count it joy when you go tru temptation or trials, when you are patient tru it, you will be perfected.

I’ve always had a double feeling with fasting, as if it were egotistical, which is why I never felt completely easy with doing it... however, observing my habits and my wishes of building a closer relationship with God, I see the importance of fasting and how the devil has been lying to me.
It’s time!!!
The church has made a lot of spiritual disciplines very works-based. Like their "doing" this or that is what brings about the breakthrough when 100% credit should always be given to God.
So yes, fasting _can be_ egotistical. You can even hear the ego in this teaching. And no, it doesn't mean that God cannot and will not bless pple through this sermon. Whatever level of faith one brings, He blesses!
I am still learning about these things anyways. Still getting deliverance from a works mindset (we all are). One thing I will say I have had Revelation on is that the disciplines (prayer, fasting, etc.) help us so we have the correct mindset to receive the blessing/breakthrough when it comes. The fasting doesn't "cause" the breakthrough-God causes the breakthrough!! The fasting gets us to the mindset God needs us to be to receive the breakthrough (so we can handle it the way He wants us to).
Another thing I have learned is that a discipline like fasting for e.g, compresses time-like pushes the fast-forward button.
There's more but I'll leave it here for now.
I love this story that he’s telling about Moses! And I get what he’s saying, but it also just occurred to me that Moses is lifting his hands and lifting our hands is a posture of praise and surrender to God. The Bible is full of examples of praising through, our problems, praising God, even though the victory isn’t in sight. This is so encouraging to me, because I have been praising God, desperately seeking victory for going on three years now. I don’t know how many times I have wanted to just give up and quit the fight altogether, but something inside me keeps me driven, it gives me hope when in the natural, there is no hope, but something within me lets me see a hope on a spiritual level, and it encourages me to keep on going. Sometimes it’s a day at a time other times it’s a couple of days at da time And often times it’s one minute at a time, but I know that my God will see me through! His word promises to work all things together for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purpose. I thank God that I fit that bill.

I don't know exactly what it is about you, but your knowledge of the word and how you break down and capture all the stories and mysteries in the word is really far out and beyond any degree. You to me pastor Franklin sound like an end time prophet of God, for which pastor Franklin I am thoroughly grateful. I'm here in Abbeville, La., quite a ways from your church and congregation but I feel like I'm always drawn back to your messages. Many times when I'm going through something, I turn to your messages and there it is, exactly what I needed. I started a fast and warfare has kicked it up a notch lol my wife even thinks she's over me LMBO..... The devil is a liar! It's been really hard to overcome financial difficulty but I've always worked and tried to be the best I could without God but now that I'm his smh it's like she's strange!!! But I will center another fast around my wife and I'm encouraged that God will pull us through.
