I tried the wasabi and watermelon radish this past spring and fall loved the red meat radish it was sweet when the cool weather set in I thought for sure they would be pithy. They were not they were delicious now I know it was a winter radish did not know the difference. Wasabi was 🥵 hot and spicy. I like sweet!
I have a story for you......my home and garage burnt to the ground a week ago. of course ALL my seeds including my own grown, harvested , dried and put away for spring 2022. perished. but low and behold backer creek salad seeds planted for winter harvest actually survived and continue to grow. things just a foot or two from the lettuce burned to ashes. it's a miracle Baker Creek. thank you!

i once tried to grow them black radish like you would spring radish , they grew so big and fast that one could only cut them with an axe, and no one liked them, i now know they are a winter radish, thank you for the tips and info
Thank you! We haven't been doing Seed Stories recently, but I am hoping to get back to them soon! They are so much fun to do -- and I always learn so much!
Had a black radish I picked up years ago that was meaner than wasabi or horseradish. Spent weeks cutting slices off of it every few days trying to eat it all but gave up on it. Need to grow some like that to dry and grind into powder.
I’m ordered some seeds from you and I’m about to harvest my first round of radishes in a few days. I’ll probably get at least another round before it gets too hot.
I don`t mind wich colour or wich size radishes have! I would be glad to get a variety that just works for me! In four years gardening I got this year my first decent harvest of radishes at all...☹
@@adriennefloreen really? so you are saying that they are making nice videos and just ordering seeds online and after that they are selling them again? or what should scam be?

I love your company, but the last radishes I bought from you guys did not sprout well. The ones that did sprouted didn't develop. I even changed my soil n locations.

Beautiful video. Felt guilt not wanting to tell anyone about it for fear of it getting usurped, but not my decision. Thank you for the information that I suspected. As a disclaimer... I hate hippies.

What would be the best Daikon Radishes for Zone 3 🇨🇦?
you would do best with the earlier/earliest types, from us that would be Japanese Minowase Daikon Radish!
