Caryn Coleman amplifies female & nonbinary filmmaker's work through The Future of Film is Female

Hi you guys!
I sat down with Caryn Coleman who's the founder of The Future of Film is Female, a non-profit organization whose goal is to amplify the voices and work of female and non-binary filmmakers. The organization awards grants to filmmakers at various stages of production through their short film fund and is simultaneously committed to exhibition. She provides info for filmmakers who want to apply and discusses how you can support the fund (Buy a chic lil t-shirt through the link below!)
I call up some research from the Geena Davis Institute that indicates that even still, only 7% of directors, 13% of writers, and 20% of producers are female. Caryn offers her opinion on what could possibly change this…
