$13.50 US .... Back in the day if you wanted to sound like you were doing something, you went to a pawn shop and bought a PA system. That helped with the lo-fi aspect. And to this day if you're playing a small venue or event, that's what you do. Of course nowadays many of us have laptops with a capable processor, memory and hard drive space. Add an audio interface, a VST synth and DAW and as you have so ably demonstrated, one now has a vintage keyboard with enhancements. I absolute agree with you that it should be purchased at a thrift store. You will pay a more than reasonable price. This was good. Keep on, keepin' on 😎
Hey, I used the headphone output jack and just plugged that into my interface. The problem with these cheaper keyboards is that there is no midi or DAW connectivity and you have to use them like instruments. An easy work around is to sample the keyboard and use it as a sample based instrument. But yeah, no DAW connectivity I'm afraid.
Wow this sound is great!!!!

so this is your guitar demo recording
This is a textbook example of how to ' trick_out ' a vintage consumer grade keyboard
Did you ever sample that thing?
reverb prices going through the roof
* Buy 10 £10 keyboards
* Make a video about it being good
* Sell on reverb for £100 each
Don't buy from reverb. Go to a yard sale, Goodwill or the Salvation Army
Hey man how did you connect it to ur DAW? Mine has no 5 pin or anything only output jack im confused haha

@@alexdudley4497 thanks man
I'm well aware that many cheap vintage keyboards lack a midi capability. And yet doesn't the use of the audio interface help to mitigate that?
Just found one for 25$ ur video made me decide ima get it! Still enjoying yours?
Yeah it's a good keyboard to have around, can't get over that string sound either! I've been using the Flute sound as a good layer too
