Sir which of the following is not associated with the phase rule (a) triple point (b) eutectic point (c) critical point (d) plait point. Please reply Sir
eutectic in a phase diagram represents a point, where two different composition separates like Sn and Pb. while triple point, critical point and plaint represents different phases of a single substance like water.
You said ice will convert directly into vapour at constant pressure while increasing temperature but in daily life when we increase temperature of ice it will convert into water not directly in vapour as there is constant pressure though i.e 760mmhg?
Atmospheric pressure is 1,00,000 pascals=760mm Hg Direct conversion of ice to vapour needs pressure of 607 pascals=4.56mm Hg at temperature of 0.01°C=273.16K
Something so easy to understand yet some people made it complicated , but thanks to your vid it was helpful !

eutectic point
Sir why? eutectic point is associated with phase rule in two component system
eutectic in a phase diagram represents a point, where two different composition separates like Sn and Pb. while triple point, critical point and plaint represents different phases of a single substance like water.
