Lambing season 2021

My son and I feeding the flock and checking on the lambs. Due to early lambing and horrendous weather, we lost a bunch of lambs during the first couple weeks of lambing. Fortunately, the weather has recently improved and our survival rate is improving as well. Due to the size of the flock, the fact we're lambing out in the open, predators and weather issues, we're still at around 85% survival rate this far which sounds bad but it is climbing quickly. It was much worse just a week ago.
Glad to be putting February behind us. The combination of perpetual rain and wet snow combined with wind and flooded ground made the worst lambing conditions I've ever experienced. Colder temperatures and hard ground would have been much preferred.
