I thought I'd hate the double screens but once you sit in the driver's seat those screens look awesome. And especially watching TH-cam videos is amazing.
Having grown up with the Mustang I was 9 when I saw my first one. Having owned 9, I really love the screens. I don't know what the hate is about. I have a tesla screen in my 2012 and it works great. For those complaining about the double bubble remember from 74 to 93 it wasn't a thing in the Mustang. The rear fenders off a Camaro? Go look at any 69 fastback and you'll see where that came from, the Mustang had it first and did it better. Only choice for me is wait for a 2025 or buy one now.
What you guys need to do is build an inexpensive add on to make the two screens look like one. I’m no fan of these screens, but it looks better as one continuous screen instead of two separate screens.
Not all the screens are two. The GTs and Dark Horse I've test driven had a single large screen connected with a full glass type cover. Maybe take a look at some actual 2024 Mustangs instead of depending on photos and reviews
@@DWH300 not all are two.. but the base model Ecoboost and GT are two lol. The premiums and dark horse are one. Easy Google search, dont need to see them in person
I just want to know how to upload my navigation preferences (addresses) and also save (and delete) radio stations. I'm staring at the screen and cursing it!
Make a panel for the hood vent just like the gt500 hood vent, so I can go to the touchless car wash..... the amount of water going into the engine with the vent is way to much...
Yeah, all those retro feelings when I was broke in my 88 with 104000 on it buying whatever 225 tires I could find that had some tread.......oh, and 93 octane was $1.26 per gallon. Could fill up and still get 2 packs of smokes for 20 bucks..... Now that costs me like 80 bucks. Still like my 21 with regular gauges and cloth seats......and exhaust..... I can see the like/want of the screen/screens but I'd say you won't be staring at them or making many adjustments after the first week or two......rpms, speed and on occasion the fuel gauge and temp.... Probably a nice car though.
“Screens” are the worst thing to happen to cars/trucks, especially muscle cars. Sell me a modern Mustang with a V8, manual transmission, and some safety features and I’m good. F*** all this electronic horse sh*t.
Ford has really messed up with this version of the Mustang. The only good thing is, the next version should be much better, but I will not hold my breath on that. Sometimes it takes Ford to screw up to actually fix the problems. Bill said it, "Whether you like it or not, some people are saying they kind of look like they were an afterthought". He is talking about the instrument cluster, but really I think they are talking about the entire car.
Ford should integrate the screens better for 2025, maybe shroud them more in some type of enclosure. This just proves never buy the first year of a new release.
I'm curious if all the complainers regarding the 2024 Mustang digital screens watch a 27" TV or a 60" or larger TV. I also wonder if they use a small screen cell phone or a large 7+" version. We've become a society of complainers. Instead if being happy that Ford continued the V8 Coyote Mustang GT and introduced the new Dark Horse. Dark Horse R, Dark Horse IMSA GT3 and GT4 and the Dark Horse GTD Super Car Mustang. More complainers. How can we afford these higher prices. My answer is buy what fits your budget. Complaining corrects nothing. Then there's the "it can't be tuned". The S650 was just released and Whipple has a supercharger ready for it. Tuning will likely happen within the first year, but it's not a life changing issue. Ford could have followed Stellantis who's ending their Hemi Challenger and Charger while GM is dropping the Camaro likely returning as a competitor to the Mustang Mach E which is another issue for Ice Mustang owners without realizing the Mach E and lightning likely kept Ford from receiving hugh mpg fines that Stellantis and GM recently paid while likely keeping the Ice S650 available to the Mustang customers. I'm a hugh supporter of Ford and their reentering GT racing with a factory IMSA GT3 Ford performance and Multimatic race team. I never read about anyone talking about that program other than Ford performance, Jim Farley and Ford test drivers like Joey Hand on LinkedIn. It's like being on a team where everyone wants to be the coach.
You nailed it.. usa is a nation of whiners, sissies, cowards, and spoiled brats and that especially includes the boomers and the ww2 generation. If the motor is optimized for power from ford including the exhaust then there is no need to tune it anyway.

This. All they need is a gloss black piece with some rubber on the sides that slides into place. Hope somebody makes one soon.

Opted for the base GT with a dealer installed Roush blower. Put me in the category of loving the screens
How long till someone makes a plastic insert to connect the base model screens?

Better off with separate tablets than one full one... Especially when they stop working.
How often do those go bad? My car is 8 years old and don’t have any issue with it.
The screens are awesome… my only concern is are they too bright at night??? They have to get that just right
