I know I typically publish my videos on TUESDAYS every week, but due to the TIMELINESS of this REPORT, this will serve as this week's video so thanks for your grace on the EARLY RELEASE! How do you feel about this report? To me, it seems to answer a lot of the questions people have had and sincerely reaches out to the victims in a way I haven’t seen before.

It is indeed hard to see what his family is going through because of his sin. We have to keep in mind that Ravi chose this suffering for his family. He knew someday his sin would be exposed and his family would be shamed, but he chose sex abuse anyway. THAT tells us a lot about his character. He preached the word of God, then used that same mouth for unspeakable sin. That's what we have to keep in mind. Ravi didn't love his family enough to protect them from suffering at his own hands. It's regrettable that his offspring never developed lives for themselves outside the family business. When family businesses fail, the whole family suffers. Their suffering doesn't make me want to blind myself to the fact that his victims are suffering more. It isn't their house, their job, or their car that were taken away, it was their bodies and souls that were damaged in ways that can never fully recover. Save your pity for the people who deserve it. Adultery isn't something to just gloss over. God never said, "forgive and forget." We don't move on by pretending the sin never happened and the damage isn't real.

I am a survivor of molestation by my grandfather who was Methodist Preacher. He died a hero in the worlds eyes. I was made to feel bad by my own Mother that I who was under age at the time of my abuse. Instead of protecting me, I was told to not say anything to anyone because it would hurt my grandfathers reputation. From that point on, I NEVER trusted my family again. I felt like I had been completely betrayed and abused all over again. I kept the secret for years. But then as I got to be an adult I realized that I needed to talk with someone about how I Was feeling and what had happened to me. The unfortunate part of it all, is that it has hurt my adult life with my husband. There are things that were taken from me that day by my grandfather that I will never get back. I truly feel as an adult now that I have forever lost something that was precious to me, the ability to enjoy something that God made to be beautiful. I have chose to forgive my Grandfather, but it doesn't change the effect it has had on me. I am a casualty of war. I cannot imagine how Mrs Zacharias is doing. Praying for them all!

What “biblical” repentance are you pointing to? I’ve not heard/read of any individual of the organization repentant for any specific action. Maybe I’ve missed what it is they’re doing “biblically”. I will admit at the outset that this “ministry” organization isn’t really to begin with, for its never been accountable to elders or a church. People of Christ can certainly do His work as individuals and groups, but we shouldn’t delude ourselves just because RZIM has ministry in the name either.

This move by RZIM is cold, calculated, and EXACTLY what Ravi himself would have done were he still alive to maintain public standing (and had a scapegoat other than himself). Yes, when you are contemplating on survival - paying bills, repentance is the next chip in the game you throw hard on the board. Who cares about throwing the dead evil dad under the bus and pretend to distance yourself when you foresee the struggle of getting bread on your own table. Now the best way to make money is in the name of restitution and changing the shop name. I think they should work their butt like most common folks and get some real job shutting down this evil shop for good. Religion is EVIL. Religious people are the real Predators. Religion I s a cloth predators wear to prey their victims. Religion is a pretentious image of purity that EVIL folks wear. Religion should be banned from all civilized society. I lost my faith and became smart because of this treacherous guy. I have to thank him in a way but I feel for his victims. It could have been my sisters or daughters. Last year alone I spent a lot of my hard earned donating to most evangelical churches. This year I got smart and stopped all donations but I regret for squandering my money on the bygone years. I’ld donate to government run programs instead were real people in need get the best not these bastards living in luxury not knowing the pain of making real money. I will accept true repentance of Zachrias daughters when they go get real job and not sitting on some board making easy money flapping their mouth.

I don’t agree with removing his content. He still preached the Gospel and his material was powered by the Holy Spirit. The book of Hebrews describes Bible characters who sinned and messed up yet doesn’t erase their history instead points out their faith. All through the Bible we see people who sin yet they are still in the Bible and we learn from their sin. I truly don’t understand why they need to take his godly content down. They shouldn’t be jumping on the bandwagon to erase ‘bad’ history. We wouldn’t have anyone’s content Christian or not, if everyone’s sins were revealed. Bottom line, I pray they are truly listening to the Lord’s voice and not looking to please man.

@Mark OnTheBlueRidge You don't have to agree with me. I can still have my opinion and believe what I want and not be wrong in that. Besides the only opinion that really matters is God's. No, I don't know the entire situation because I'm not on the inside, however, I think we need to be careful (especially those of us on the outside) to think we can just blanket a situation a certain way and say we need to do it that way every time someone sins. (I'm not a debater, nor do I claim to have the right verbiage to express myself fully in this small space) Furthermore, much of the current world's thinking has crept into the church and to 'erase' someone's work is a part of it. Again, I'll say that I pray that those who are in the decision making place are seeking what the Lord is wanting them to do about the situation regardless of the options of man.

An apology wouldn't have started with, "the RZIM Board of Directors..." It would have started with, "I am so deeply sorry for what my father has done..." The woman they hired to deal with all this is a lawyer, not a therapist. The only thing this "apology" does is CYA. Shame on the Zachariases for everything they have done since this scandal was exposed. The mother "losing" free housing is not what we should pity. I'm Not blaming RZ's wife but just thinking of the possibility that RZ started looking at "fitter" females after his wife hypothetically became overweight. Yes let’s talk about it. Dear people, do not bring down the man of God for the sin he committed. This just validates that the Bible is true. You look at men in the Bible and see they fell in terrible sin, look at David who committed adultery and was a murderer, what about Solomon who had thousands of wives and Concubines, or Noah who was a drunker, or Paul who was a murderer, Abraham slept with someone who was not his wife and made another child who was not the chosen one and so many more who God used. These are men just like us. Christians why cry Ravi down, instead defend him, not the sin but because he was one of us. You leave nothing for the ungodly. Why take down his messages when they have inspired many, is it no God’s word? My friends understand this is a ploy of the enemy and it came from right in his ministries. Ravi is wearing his crowns in Heaven and did a good job here on earth. Well done to the man of God. Many cant carry the anointing he did. Target him down now, when he cannot defend himself, try to erase him so the word of God cannot travel across the world. You all are ridiculous. God qualified him and he has run his course. Well done.

How long does it take to remove his videos??? This is why I’m a skeptic about the full effort of the family to right the wrongs of Ravi. @@RespondingtotheCall It amazes me how many people are still refusing to believe the revelations about Ravi, saying that because he's dead he can't defend himself. But victims of sexual abuse often only feel safe to speak out once their abuser is dead. Jimmy Saville is a prime example.
I kept an open mind initially, not wanting to believe that this man who impacted me so much by his teaching and whom I thought to be a true and humble servant of God was capable of such evil. Some people use King David as an example of a sinner who God forgave but we know David publicly repented and wrote psalms revealing his repentance and remorse. I see that Nathan, Ravi's son, is challenging the report by Miller and Martin, refusing or perhaps emotionally unable, to believe in his guilt. It must be so hard for the family to accept these awful things about their father, and they really do need our prayers as they grieve for their loss and have to deal with the awful legacy he has left behind him. Ravi had time during his last months to admit his guilt and publicly repent but he chose to take it with him and probably assumed it would never come out, though God knows our true hearts and he must surely have known that with all his biblical knowledge. When the news of his lifestyle broke out after his passing, I was mad at those soiling the name of a beloved saint on social media. I was a member of a very large church/Bible college (over 2000 people) where this happened with the pastor. It destroyed MANY marriages, and some in that congregation even committed suicide. Some fell away from the faith and never returned to it. Because of that, I learned to never put my faith in fallible man, but only in the Lord. I lost faith in man, but never in Jesus, who is always faithful. All of Ravi’s works will be destroyed because he allowed himself to fall into temptation. Prayers for all who were stumbled by his sin, and for those who will use his fall as an excuse to not repent of their own sins, and realize how much they need Jesus.

@KanaMichelle I’m so sorry to hear about that with your former church. I, too, was a part of a church like this-which is why I’ve done this entire series. A ton of the hurt that I processed then-as well as the way my faith GREW instead of shrank-is what I’ve used to hopefully help others process this now with Ravi. Unlike you, I listened to Ravi for nearly a decade and God used HIS WORD preached THROUGH Ravi to change and grow my faith. That’s why it was particularly disappointing for me, but as you said and as I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree, we don’t put our trust in any man. Praying for wisdom for all as we watch this ministry continue to hopefully serve these women and victims in the days ahead.

Think about someone listening to him who is new to Christ, they'll read his works and then find out who he is and what he done and think, well if this great man of God is still supported by the christian community, this type of living in sin must be fine with God. I think throwing away Ravi's books and taking down his podcasts and videos, is just a knee jerk reaction. I would equate that to removing all the writings of Solomon from the Bible, because he got into idolatry at the end of his life. Ravi was a hypocrite indeed, but it does not take away the truthfulness of his message, which he outlined both in his books and on other platforms. I will continue to watch his videos and read his books, in order to strengthen my own apologetics for Christ.

Solomon’s Heart Turns from the Lord
1 Kings 11:1 But King Solomon loved many foreign women, as well as the daughter of Pharaoh: women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians, and Hittites- 2 from the nations of whom the Lord had said to the children of Israel, “You shall not intermarry with them, nor they with you. Surely they will turn away your hearts after their gods.” Solomon clung to these in love. 3 And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his wives turned away his heart. 4 For it was so, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned his heart after other gods; and his heart was not loyal to the Lord his God, as was the heart of his father David. 5 For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and after the abomination of the Ammonites. 6 Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord, and did not fully follow the Lord, as didhis father David.

When the board is made public. Then the board and all leadership resign I wi believe they are serious. At the moment the ones who have presided over and allowed this to happen are now the same ones who have decided they are the best ones qualified to lead the solution. Guessing they are all still getting an income from this organization. Changing the name with same leadership does nothing

Hey Cindy, I see what you’re saying for sure and lots of people have said the same. Yet I’m trying to look at it from a different angle I guess. My whole point of all 6 of these videos about Ravi was to help Christ-followers to guard their heart and trust the Lord while processing and praying over all involved. We can focus on RZIM and the Board or we can focus on the people they’ve affected-the victims. It seems to me they want to reach out to more victims and are giving every available resource for that publicly. Some might say “too little, too late” but I would say better now than never. Is it ideal? Of course not. Much damage has been done to their lives and to the name of Christ. Ultimately I’m choosing to believe that they want to move forward until I have definitive proof otherwise. Right now, I see an avenue for women to come forward and heal, paid for and supplied by the ministry. That’s a good start.

@@RespondingtotheCall I guess I wonder why we would have to choose? Why would it be one or the other? Can't we/they focus on both? Expecting them to dismantle the board and remove leadership acknowledges accountability for the ambitious leaders who contributed to this abuse by turning a blind eye and sweeping it under the rug for years to maintain the ministry. That seems like the honorable thing to do. I see it as a vital part of providing help and support for the victims of Ravi....showing them true repentance and a commitment to making sure it won't happen again. Changing the name of the organization seems like an easy out for people who may have been culpable in the devastation of these women. Almost a way of keeping the revenue stream flowing and the ministry rolling along by sidestepping and distancing themselves from the obvious questions.

That text is not a command to completely ignore everything a person does. Jesus knew the Pharisees were hypocrites and were only condemning this woman as a means of trying to condemn him in some way. Paul repeatedly called out people (and named names) when they were practicing sin (not just committing a sin, but practicing it). Ravi did not just stumble, he was continually practicing sin and intentionally covering it up. When one of the women did speak up (I think it was in 2018) he falsely accused her of lying and slandered her. Even after this point of almost getting caught he kept sinning at least up to 3 months before he died (we know this from his phone data). While I hope Ravi repented at some point before he died we have nothing to indicate that. From our perspective we call out what we see. If God knows something we don't about Ravi he will judge him accordingly, but we can and should make a judgement from what we know, which includes completely condemning what he did and helping the victims of his sin.

    • @mikekurschat3414
      @mikekurschat3414 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Sin has deep claws, and it seems they were deep into Ravi.
We NEED to learn from this: 1) continuous Repentance and Confession, and 2) Continuous accountability. It's just stupid to think that a good and godly man is exempt from temptation and sin. Any ministry leader who wants to avoid this kind of catastrophic failure should go to a Celebrate Recovery meeting to see what that looks like. It's not our job to judge, but be on guard, lest we fall into sin. Perhaps if I (or others) had the courage to give my testimony of confession and repentance to Ravi 2 years ago when I saw him, he might have repented. Take away: What's your testimony of confession and repentance? Who are your accountability people?

    • @toliveischrist950

Have you ever read 1 Cor. 5? Additionally, the passage you quote in John 8 is NOT in the earliest and most reliable manuscripts. It was added by a scribe, as it was a popular story going around about Jesus at one time. But it never made sense to me. Jesus was the One who commanded the Jews to stone adulterers. He would have been denying His own COMMAND!

You have a point, Shilpa. 1 John 3 says that the authentic Christian does not go on practicing sin. John clearly did not mean that the Christian becomes sinlessly perfect because we all fall and fail since we have the sin nature within us. However, the authentic Christian should NOT be involved in practicing sin. Yet, this is exactly what Ravi did. He not only made provision for the flesh, but designed much of his life so that he could sin freely. Even when things began to come out, instead of repenting, he dug deeper to hide his sins. His entire adult life was one lie after another - credentials, sexting, rape, unwanted fondling and touching.
I'm also having a hard time with trying to understand it. When King David sinned, he did so in a stupid moment of passion. It was still sin of course but it was different from the lifestyle of sin that Ravi created. Note also that the consequences of David's sin remained even after his heartfelt repentance.
When did Ravi ever repent? I don't recall him ever repenting publicly.
Regarding his apologetics...they were okay as far as they went but if you look carefully in many of his Q & As or speeches, he was much more of a story teller than an expositor of God's Word.

Ravi's actions hurtful & deplorable!!! Thankful to RZIM for all their responses now! This is commendable! He's not the first nor will he be the last...unless the Church determines to become personally, each one, knowledgeable in Truth, to learn how to stop elevating, idolizing & creating celebrities of leaders, (like the world) from the pastor of the little assembly to the mega ones on tv & all others made famous. The Body of Christ has no hierarchy! We respect & honor those laboring in the Word to teach & pastor God's way (we can only judge that w/individual studies!) who do it to make mature believers for the work of growing the Body of Christ & no other reason! Thru "right" knowledge by studying to show each one an "approved workman unto God, rightly dividing the Word of Truth" & growth, we would hold the leaders & each other to account & prevent all from going astray! His sins r now public, what of the secret ones still? All sin is sin!!! Grow in Grace & learn that all flesh is susceptible & putting leaders on pedestals thinking they're more 'Godly', only provides them more opportunities to sin greater. That's the meaning & only reason for Church! It's time for Jesus' Church to grow up in right knowledge of the only true Gospel of Grace that 'professing christians' choose Life & be saved, & true Christian lives become transformed by renewing of their minds & all to walk by faith not sight, in the Spirit not the flesh. Walking in the Spirit is about right knowledge of God's Word, that's full of power, personally studied, "effectually working" in the believer, not fake emotionalism! It's by Grace we're saved & only Grace produces the Godly life! What are u hearing?
