THIS BRAVE fitness enthusiast has found his happiness - despite living with two rare bone diseases. 22-year-old Christopher Hebert, otherwise known as CJ, was born with Proximal Femoral Focal Deficiency (PFFD) and Multiple Hereditary Exostoses (MHE). PFFD resulted in CJ missing his right femur bone, whilst MHE has caused painful bone tumours all over his body. CJ, from Kansas, USA, decided to have a Rotationplasty surgery where doctors amputated his right leg but re-attached it so that his foot could act as a mobilised knee-joint within a prosthetic. This has enabled CJ to lead a more ‘normal’ and ‘active’ life - he now thanks fitness and his fiancée, MacKenzi Eisenbraun, for saving him.

You’re so strong, so brave and such an inspiration. I have a joint disease that causes me pain constantly and prohibits movement. After several surgeries, I’m avoiding them until I have no choice left because of the risk of infections. I’m much older and I was 38 when I was diagnosed and became physically limited. Im saying this because I feel like I’m not pushing myself hard enough and I’m letting the disability mentally defeat me. Seeing you and others on this channel not giving up or giving in is such an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your story, I know you’ll have a wonderful, happy life. God bless. 💜🙏💜

Dear Christopher, your will power and positive thinking will help you overcoming your disease, and with the years to come you WILL learn to handle your prosthetic leg better and better. Maybe, in the nearer or farer future, you might get the removed middle section of your leg implanted again. Never give up hope. Well she’s technically my moms cousins she’s now in her late 60’s and when she was young it was very rare. She has to wear a brace so she can walk normal.

I was born different too with 1 bone that was outrageously huge i was born with a 7 incher im 36 and now its a 13 incher sometimes i wish i could snap off a few inches but i hang in there
As someone who couldn't use her right leg almost for four months, I am amazed by what this guy is doing! This is awesome! I hope for him, that he will never need any surgery again. Surgeries sucks!

It’s amazing what you can do. My son was born with pffd and he is 16 and nothing slows him down . He always makes sure to enjoy each day and to do his best.

You sound so inspiring even though your knee is like your foot, you can still do basically everything, everyone else can, & it doesn’t hold you back from what you want to do. You can lift weights & do exercises just like everyone else can, it might take some patience for you to Finish your workout because you to pick yourself back up & put on the prosthetic leg of yours but you can do anything that is possible. You can do so much. Wow that’s amazing & that’s how inspiring you are.

Wow! This video really encourage me .I suffering from a medical condition known as Lymphedema which causes my right leg to bigger than my left leg and every day I'm battling with depression and suicidal thoughts ,but watching this story gives me hope .
