Devon Dashcam totally agree. I find it amusing that everyone hates on the US and Russia but if you look around its the same all over. We may all live in different continents but we all really just want the same things out of life. A decent job, a decent home, food on the table and for our children to do better than we did.
Your videos are very educational. I'm learning to drive in Europe, and watching people make mistakes from your point of view gives a great deal of knowledge. Keep your videos coming!

I've been watching your videos as of late and am impressed. I especially liked the transition between winter and summer on the same stretch of road or curves. Well Done ! Also watching your videos has given me a heap more respect for what truck drivers must put up with. Because I tend to think that a good many drivers have their collective heads up their asses, when riding my motorcycle I kept my awareness at least 1/4 mile ahead of where I was at any given moment. Never got in a wreck yet with it.

I've noticed that European dashcammers have been getting a ton of really positive feedback lately, TH-cam must be promoting you all more. At the same time, the ones in the US got forgotten haha. Either way, its cool to see it spread father out from just Russia!
Lovely snow! We had a pretty good snowy winter this year too. Although not as much snow as I would've liked, but enough to get my sedan stranded on the belly over deep tracks. :)
In Sweeden as well as the rest of the driving world, human life has become expendable and some of us just don't bother to care about anyone but themselves and how "late" they are to work, hairdresser, bowling or whatever. Shameful that we've come to this point. People just don't care about "right" & "wrong". ps: love the videos.
Whichever way you wish to view it, statistics show that the level of accidents per passenger mile are currently much lower than earlier years. (I just wish we could somehow raise people's driving skills)

There has been many times that I have had to stop walking because of truck drivers, here that will at times seem like they will aim for that standing water just to see what they can do with it. I do understand that some times it can't be avoided but there are times that it can.

4,5 hours - 45min break - 4,5 hours. And twice a weak you can take Another 45min break and do 1 more hour. Well, at home if you get there. If not...then in the cab :)

Normally "baby on board", ambulances and after school vans are the worst drivers here in Portugal, and then you have the givens such as taxi's and white vans. Nice video !
And still I love driving Sweden......we only use the Highway to Svinesund, and the Road to Stockholm ( Upplands Väsby), the rest is driving through the beautiful Swedish Country.... Trevligt resa
To help you with copyright issues you could add some echo to the audio if there is a proper song on the radio . A German "TH-cam-Trucker" does that all the time.
I don't watch your videos often enough, finally saw this one, and definitely need to go through the others! I encounter this sort of driving on my daily commute in a regular sedan. I see the stunts people pull around HGVs, and cringe. One rule I always following when changing lanes in front of a truck, is to make sure that my indicator has been on long enough to be visible to the driver (far enough in front of the truck), and that there is enough space (much more that for a regular vehicle), before I move over. Worked for me so far!. Also, I need to learn to be as calm the road, the other cars can't hear what you are saying, and in any case, probably don't care.
Lots of 4 wheelers have no clue of the dangers they cause, concern for safety, or cares of courtesy with other drivers. I always acknowledge a courteous driver with a toot and/or a wave and a smile. It's the right thing to do. (I run oil filed HazMat tankers in USA).
I agree, the roads looked very different between Winter and Spring. As for the people who want to pass one more vehicle before getting over, that happens to me too while I'm driving my small car. But, I'm sure it happens to big trucks more. Great vids!

Love the irony at 1:45. So our hero passes the Maersk lorry on the 'wrong side' then makes a fuss when a car does exactly the same thing to him. (In both cases because the lane to the left was moving more slowly than the traffic to the right.)
Not sure if you are familiar with Swedish law. But there is no "wrong side". 70 km/h speedlimit, so you are allowed to pass on the left or right. Plus the traffic is very slow, just as you said. And it is slow because its a lot of traffic this time of the day. And the flow dosent get any better with people who try to overake as many as possible Before they get into to the "right lane" for them, cutting everybode else of.
Tell me, what is the reason that the houses and outbuildings in rural areas are painted that dark red colour? Did Dulux have an offer on, and start a fashion trend? :-)

Det känner jag till väldigt mycket om. Hade en som blåste över 70 förbi mig på Lundavägen i Malmö. JAg bara satt och tänkte "Synd polisen inte var där"
jag kör också taxi i centrala staden, folk gör misstag hela tiden. Jag är en del av folket, alla gör misstag, tycker det är lite hycklande att peka fingret och säga "titta där, han är en idiot som inte kan köra" och vad han gjorde var att inte gasa upp ordentligt/dylikt. Poängen jag kommer till är att alla gör misstag, även varenda person som läser detta som kör har gjort misstag. Är ni idioter? Nä, tänkte väl inte de!
I have nothing but the utmost respect and gratitude towards truckers. without them we would have nothing in our stores and nothing to eat. life in our modern world would not be possible. not to mention all the shit they have to put up with from brain dead drivers.

0:47 this is totally understandable, having a big truck in front of you is a pain. You can't really see past it, you get his exhaust, they're slow and when they make a turn they have to be extra slow and careful. He didn't make any crazy stun.

Not a stupid question at all! :) You dont have to do it, but the tread must be deeper on driving axle during Winter. But many trucks that carry trailer do change to a softer kind of drive tire during Winter.
Thanks for that. I change tyres on my car for winter but this year I did not, and by christ you notice the difference, slipped all over the place but luckily we only had a few days of snow.

Trucker Dashcam // Sweden My uncle said same from his Scania. He has now switched into the R620 Scania as the old one had some serious distance covered and he got a good deal for the R620. Looking forward to summer to go check that out too at some point. Especially looking forward to hear the famous Scania V8 note, which in the current truck is much more noticeable than in the previous one, according to my uncle. But yeah, enjoy the upcoming spring and good luck with those Volvos, BMW's and Audis you have in your vids as regular quest, derping around and forcing an innocent bearded truck driver to start reacceleraring from a scratch.

Do you have a really loud air horn? I could not allow drivers to compromise my trucks safety without letting them know they have fucked up. Also the heavy snow shots are absolutely stunning! Beyond belief for a resident of Australia where we rarely ever see any snow except for the few very high mountains. A few of the snow shots I viewed over and over. They were an absolute joy to watch. Truly beautiful, especially as I don't have to drive a truck in them!!! Do you have tyre chains for the heavy snow periods? Or by just driving slowly you seem to cope? Amazing footage.

Det var inte meningen, men jag kolla så mycket på vad han höll på med i backspegeln, så jag råkade glida åt höger (krävs inte mycket i ett brett fordon). Men höll mig kvar i min fil.

Its a very popular colour here in sweden and have been for a loooong time. Its called "Falu red"...or Falu Rödfärg in Swedish :)

jag kör också taxi i centrala staden, folk gör misstag hela tiden. Jag är en del av folket, alla gör misstag, tycker det är lite hycklande att peka fingret och säga "titta där, han är en idiot som inte kan köra" och vad han gjorde var att inte gasa upp ordentligt/dylikt. Poängen jag kommer till är att alla gör misstag, även varenda person som läser detta som kör har gjort misstag. Är ni idioter? Nä, tänkte väl inte de!

I have nothing but the utmost respect and gratitude towards truckers. without them we would have nothing in our stores and nothing to eat. life in our modern world would not be possible. not to mention all the shit they have to put up with from brain dead drivers.

Usually yes, but you Always have to Think 3 steps ahead when you do :)

0:47 this is totally understandable, having a big truck in front of you is a pain. You can't really see past it, you get his exhaust, they're slow and when they make a turn they have to be extra slow and careful. He didn't make any crazy stun.
Not strange that you want to pass a Heavy truck...But there a good ways and there are bad.

Thank you for your video's; they are nice. I like your comment on the traffic situations (incl. the behavious of 'other road users') and I also like the scenery. It must be difficult to drive a truck through those snow situations.
This may be a stupid question, but do you have to change tyres for the winter season, like cars do in some countries.

You dont have to do it, but the tread must be deeper on driving axle during Winter.
But many trucks that carry trailer do change to a softer kind of drive tire during Winter.
Thanks for that. I change tyres on my car for winter but this year I did not, and by christ you notice the difference, slipped all over the place but luckily we only had a few days of snow.

Trucker Dashcam // Sweden My uncle said same from his Scania. He has now switched into the R620 Scania as the old one had some serious distance covered and he got a good deal for the R620. Looking forward to summer to go check that out too at some point. Especially looking forward to hear the famous Scania V8 note, which in the current truck is much more noticeable than in the previous one, according to my uncle. But yeah, enjoy the upcoming spring and good luck with those Volvos, BMW's and Audis you have in your vids as regular quest, derping around and forcing an innocent bearded truck driver to start reacceleraring from a scratch.

really enjoy jour vids, especially the scenery, it is so relaxing (in contrast to some of the driving you show). It's a bit hard to explain, but I like to see you meander through Sweden..
Do you have a really loud air horn? I could not allow drivers to compromise my trucks safety without letting them know they have fucked up.
Also the heavy snow shots are absolutely stunning! Beyond belief for a resident of Australia where we rarely ever see any snow except for the few very high mountains. A few of the snow shots I viewed over and over. They were an absolute joy to watch. Truly beautiful, especially as I don't have to drive a truck in them!!!
Do you have tyre chains for the heavy snow periods? Or by just driving slowly you seem to cope? Amazing footage.

Japp, det är max :) Är ju en rondell längst ner, så svårt att få nån rejält fart att ta med sig. Sånt påverkar mycket.
haha, ja...jag råkade faktiskt göra det. Det var inte meningen, men jag kolla så mycket på vad han höll på med i backspegeln, så jag råkade glida åt höger (krävs inte mycket i ett brett fordon). Men höll mig kvar i min fil.
