- The Zillertalbahn is a narrow-gauge railway in Austria in the state of Tyrol and connects Jenbach with Mayrhofen. As a rule, diesel locomotives and railcars are used on the route. In summer, a special steam train travels the entire route almost every day. In July 2020 the steam locomotive "Tirol" came into operation.
I could watch these all night but time to sleep! 🌙
It looks amazing - thank you for sharing the views that we can only dream of at the moment. Greetings from England :)
Some of these wodden cars were moved to a preserved narrow railway in England/UK. They have still the original "Zillertal" labels. - Greetings from Bavaria, Heinz
p.s. It's Welshpool and Llanfair Railway in Mid Wales which has lent a steam loco from Zillertal, too: th-cam.com/video/q9I6PFI5QsA/w-d-xo.html
